My Missus is fuming here. Calling you guys all the name under the sun (the BMW hater that is not all of you). I personally don;t sgree with the BMW driver thing. I don;t see a problem. In each case take the prick behind the wheel of the BMW and put him in any other car and he'll still be a prick.

Does it start when it's cold but then die when warm ? If so this sounds like the PTU, the most common fault with the Z. As it warms up the segments lift away from the board cutting power to all injectors.

Probably your splash gaurds have come loose. But as mentioned above get it on the ramps and take a look.

You will see 2 screws on the inside of the glove box that holds part of this on. There are also 2 screws inside the VENT on the outside of dash between the passenger side door and the dash. Just pop this vent cover off and you’ll see another 2 screws that need to be removed.

You don;t really have to take the glove box out, you can just pull the vent off the side and unattach it from there.

Hi Mate, What's wrong with the seat belts ?. Do you mean why are they mounted on the door or something else ?. I personally prefer them on the door as it's an excuse at petrol station. You fill up and then open the passenger door to see if your missus wants anything, then as she's being choked by the seat belt you say "oh sorry luv I forgot". What's flapping in the wind ?. You talking about the seat belt again ?. The button on the anchor ?. You talking abou that strip on the targe mounts that stops wind getting in the car (well, it stops a bit I suppose). Stuart

All you guys running these, what chips have you got and where did you get them ? I'm like a little kid with sweets at the moment. I have really set my heart on these injectors :o

I shouldn't really answer this as it gets me angry. I suffer form Road Rage like you wouldn't believe. I tried to get out and smack a guy and his mates who cut me up and then gave me the finger. Stopped at a set of traffic lights and I got out unarmed, but like a man possessed and then the driver gave a little wave and floored it through the red light - to$$er !!!!. All that martial arts training about respect and disiplin goes out the window. Self defense turns into mortal combat. I hate: 1) Boy racers who turn their front fog lamps on with 9 million watt bulbs because they think it makes them look cool. 2) Lane hoggers 3) People who don't indicate, if you want to pull in front of me, incidate and I'll usually let you go if it's safe to do so. 4) People who park opposite a junction, causing massive traffic jams when someone wants to turn into it. 5) 16 year old moped riders who think that the road is thier playgound (unlike us where it is :D) 6) People who think that a police car doing 65 in the slow lane of a three lane carriage way means go the same speed in all three lanes. Overtake them or get behind them. I'm sure they don't mind if you are doing 73mph. 7) People arguing with their other halves or kids while driving. 8) Everything else everyone has already said :o
