Funny you should say that Nigel. I got your template through the post yesterday morning. Not sure why it took so long, it's only a bit of paper, maybe your sound technicains were jealous :D. I will start making these brackets up for you this week. I have had a few requested to make 6x9 brackets for the rear but, I'm affraid due to both time and cost's involved in making these I can not do any more after this one. But when I will document how to make them on my site, so it is nice and easy to follow.

Well I'll pick it up tonight and take some pictures when Iget it home. I may even give it a quick wash for the photo's :D

I got a black jack on mine, so you not only need the remote you also need to enter the code when one of the door is opened else the eninge dies next time the brakes are activated. I also always park the car so you hae to reverse it off :D.

Well after lots of talk and the mechanics reccomendation I bought another Z this eveing. Picking it up tomorrow, once I get the paper work.

I'll be buying anothr Z today hopefully. Not for breaking before anyone asks, it's not been in the country long and it's an NA , but it's a manual 2+0 so should be fun. I intend to use this while my car is in the paint shop and in SE getting it's headers sorted. But first I ned to get it on the road. I would really appreciate speaking to anyone who has registered their 300zx themselves as I don't really know where to start. Any tips guys and girls ? Will put some pictures up tonight if I buy it. Mechanic checking the car out tonight for me.

In a manual it's around the 140mph mark or 225 khm. Makes perfect sense. When they reattached the gear lever they didn't connect the rubber boots properly. When the car is in third it's the center of the shifter and it puts pressure on the boots. Try a little test, in 2nd or forth when you hear transmittion noise, press the front of the lever gator to see if it stops the noise, if so you need to link your boots back together. Check my site, it's easier to see what I'm talking about with pictures. This is the boot that is misplaced. The upper boot connects over this one.

Well I know there is never anything wonrg with my spelling or punctuation. He says putting a ; in place of a ' in every word like don;t , haven;t, you;re, Also when I type my brain tells the fingers to press the right keys, but they want to do their own thing. The worst thing is when I quickly proof read it to make sure there's no mistakes, it actually looks ok LMAO !!!!!

hmmm, mytyres.net charges £110.20 for these. My local garage does them at £80 + VAT (£94) so they are not that cheap for me. I'll only have these tyres on my car, IMO they are the best you can get.

Stu I've just had a thought. I'm using the exact same settings as you are. I can rev to 6,000 rpm and drop the clutch without launch and the car just bites. But with launch it seems like it's slipping. Once I get my TC working again (box is knackered) I'll try playing around with a few of the settings.

Does the same with mine mate (with launch). It kinda does it a little in 2nd as well. I'm not sure if that's good or bad either, but look at it this way... 1) if it's happening to both of us, then maybe it's normal. or 2) we both need new clutches. :D
