I had a Beema tailgating me on the A12 at about 70. As soon as the car in front of me moved over I dropped it into third and floored it, he started flashing me from way back so I slowed down just incase he was a rozza. He pulled along side and started bidding for my car. He really wanted it but I had to tell him it was not for sale. I took his number plate though because if I do sell it later the money he was offering would be double what I would get from the Auto trader lol.

Never done the 1/4 so I wouldn't know. I think this applies to about 80% of us here as well. What's you time mate ?

Anyone got 18" wheels & Traction control. If so what setting you got for T & U i.e. Driven and Reference wheels ? I did have the stock wheel settings in there i.e. 00631 on the fronts (reference) 225/50 x 16 00627 on the backs (driven) 245/45 x 16 However now I have .... 00653 on the fronts (reference) 245/40 x 18 00642 on the backs (driven) 265/35 x 18 I have not changed any other settings and yet I now have slip at 0% slip !!!!. What tyres you guys got on and what settings you got in there ? And do you get any slip ?

Let me clarify. The small Apexi is mine, this is protected by a splash guard which sits above the mesh and under the filter. So I shouldn't have any problem with rainy days. The big Blitz SUS is Cerina's (in her NA). I thought I'd post the picture to show the difference in size and at the same time marvel at how the Apexi (right) produces more power than the Blitz SUS (left).

I wouldn't even tell you about the guys I used. My car was damaged in transit and because I was in the car at the time of loading it onto the back of the trailer, I had no proof that they damaged it as I was apparently in charge oif the car at the time. All I can say is, if you do get a flat bed. Don't sign anything... hand over the keys and take a seat on a garden wall until the car is secured in place. That way if they do damage it in anyway they can't blame you and you will also see it happen.

I totally agree that this would be very interesting. Lets not get too carried away with the banter between the two clubs here. It's nice to have a little competition, but I can see people are starting to take this personal and it could all turn sour, lets keep smiling and sort our differences out on the events mentioned above. I think both of our cars are under rated in most magazines along with the rx7's. Scooby's, poopra's and skylines seem to have their fingers in all the pies. We need to put our cars back on the map and I think a little rivalry between the two clubs is a very good way to start :dance: I'll be quite happy to liaise with MadLuka or anyone else from the GTO forum that wants to organise a head to head event.

I have a friend who has all the kit and we will be polishing a few bits. We were also talking about polishing calipers. Although this is not an easy task because they are not very flat, we will be giving it a go. We'll let you know how we get on.
