"Trig" button on console - what is it?

Just picked up my 300zx TT on Saturday - amongst the many extra gadgets on it is a round button on the console marked "Trig" (actually looks like "7rig").

 

I can see that Trig seems to be a PTU unit - any idea what the button is for?

    press it and find out, if the passenger seat pops through the roof, then you know it was the ejection button :D
