Drives you mad doesnt it, I got several "I'll come tomorrow with £1500/£2000 cash", i was normally polite but one i did reply to with "as a deposit?"

Ebay...
Exactly! I could post him 1 letter a day from a keyboard spelling out "You are a Twa..." you get the idea. However the cost and effort to do that is beyond my "botheredness" oh to be retired and have loads of time on my hands!

Ebay...

Ebay...
Point being it says in the listed the screen does not turn on at all, but the lights at the bottom of the phone do and the startup sound "plays". If people would read what I had written ;) see :p http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110980436201?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1562.l2649

Ebay...
I sold a pair of gates 2 weeks ago now, the guy only lives 40 minutes from me and he hasnt been arsed to come and get them. He has paid for them which is fair enough, its still annoying though! I once sold some brakes to a chap in greece, oh good god I was ready to sign my self into the looney bin by the end of that fiasco. First he was gonna send a courier, then his mate with a wagon then he didnt want them, then he did then he just wanted the caliper. I think I boxed the dam things up 3 times. No response from a second chance offer on the galaxy either, it says on the listed the screen is broken it doesnt work and somone just emailed me asking if the screen comes on. If people would just read the 4 lines of text in the listing they would be totally fine. Turns out the BMW diagnostics might not be broken, it could be user failure.... turns out it has to be plugged into the car for the laptop to install the drivers properly which does sort of make sence as the car powers the diagnostic device through the OBD port. So I'll try it later on if I can find the port!

Zed will be road worthy after nearly 10 months finally
Glad your getting somewhere with the old girl mate! It does drive you mad when garages give you a promise and quote then completly go back on it without so much as a phone call.

Ebay...
Yeah drives you mad doesnt it. I think there should be protection out there for rogue sellers but also for the genuine ones and rogue buyers. Its a samsung galaxy S with a broken screen, just needs a new screen tbh!

Ebay...
Doesnt ebay piss you of? It does me, just sold a phone on there with a broken screen for £31, guy emails me 1 minute later "dont want it anymore couldnt cancel bid" no apologies or anything. Pisses me right of surely if youve bid on it, youve bought it, you pay for it and its your problem. I admit there can be a time where both the bidder and seller can come to an agreement to cancel, I cant even leave him bad feedback. I know his address, might send him a dog shit in the post.

great model website
Fantastic cars, a friend of mine bought a fairly tatty (its not bad, but far from mint etc) SMG E46 in estoril blue with some CSL replicas on it and it looks the dogs. I keep catching my self looking at them and wondering if I have done the right thing.. lol My E36 M3 Evo was brilliant as a daily drive, they do like to be revved though. Not that much torque!

Might have a put a deposit down on a new car...!
Cheers mate, going to call tonight and see what sort of deal I can hash out with them! 645i (no LWB version of 6 series ;) ) and 650i's are fantastic cars just pretty much all automatic and perhaps a touch grown up for me just as yet. This M5 has had alot of money spent on it over the years, all the usual suspects have been replaced in the last 3 years or so which should make it fairly good for the limited milage I do. I have been reading through the history today and its certainly comprehensive! I would stay away from a LWB 7 series if I were you. Certainly no benefit to the driver only a rear seat passenger. The extra 6 inches makes them even more awkward to park. The E65 does seem huge over the E38, my dad hs a 745i that he has had from almost new and its been very very good with regards to reliability. Much lighter on brakes and tyres and considerably better on fuel than his old e38 740i Cheers will check it out. Not a chance ;) This ones got traction control and brand new tyres! That makes it uncrashable! TBF if I do bin it, it'll be getting transplanted into a touring shell to make the 3rd M5 touring in the world....! (BMW built one, a chap in canada did one....!) The engine is fantastic, however i've only driven it twice but the throttle response is just first class. I've grown up with BMW's so the way its done is second nature. I look at the way Japanese stuff is generally built and I think hmm. Not to say German cars are without problems, my mums E39 touring is being a total PITA at the moment. However its had no love over the last 6 years suffering at the constant abuse of my mother so you cant blame the old girl (the car I mean!) +1!

You and me both! I've not seen it clean or in daylight for over a month! I have the say the previous owner had hot pressure washed it for me, but it was dark when I got there. Drove it the 9.5 miles back to my parents house, locked it, gave the keys to dad and then jumped back in the van to drive to scotland. I'm up here now until wednesday and then away for work until friday!. Worst bit as the zed hasnt gone yet I cant insure the M5, or should I say I havnt as yet. Im going to try and do a deal with my insurance company to have both on for a short term. I doubt they'll do it but I can try!

They are a fab machine! The one ride iv had in an e60 m5 made me vow to own one oneday! V10 yowl is just awesome! Thanks mate! Yeah I wanted something a bit more practical and with a stonking great v8! They are rather pokey. As luck would have it i have actually got it now anyway. Decided I had the money and that it was silly to leave it at the previous owners for a couple of weeks. Mainly as it was full of fuel lol - I'm having that. So huge rush job on Friday night it's now moored up at my parents. I wasn't sure it was that quick at first but following my dads 745i up the hill towards my parents house I nearly hit him on the back and I know he had it pegged!

RS6 a lovely car but a bit out of my league tbh! They start at what I've paid for this and ive bought a nice M5 for the money. I've a friend who wants an RS6 so hopefully he'll get one and I can have a go. I have to say I wanted to stick with a manual as well. I know full well that this will probably be my last manual fast car as everything is of the two peddel variety these days! No sadly not she is totally standard but I actually rather like that about it, the same with all M cars they just dont wear modifications well. I MIGHT be tempted to do a muffler delete on it but id be keeping the standard exhaust to put back on at time of sale! I have registered, if its the one I'm thinking of but it seems to be mainly american and completly impossible to find things on! Yeah I was suprised, thats actually registered at my house as well rather than my parents which the zed still is! I'm really excited, silly really but notbeen this excited about anything since I was 7 or 8 and waiting for a Britains farm toy (remember those?) cattle wagon to come!

I've wanted one of these for years. Took this for a test drive a month ago to see what I thought and wow I was impressed! Plus you can get an epic supercharger kit from the states for them....! :D Yeah my insurance quote was only £700 or so FC, thats me at 25. They do sound amazing and a lovely interior. I've had a softspot for E39's for years, even mums dog of a 523i is still a great car!

Be right up your street pete. 400bhp, NA 4.9l V8 revving to 7000rpm. Stunning piece of engineering! :) Cheers mate, yeah its totally different to the Jap way of doing things. I'll no doubt be back in somethnig jap in a few years, I swing from one to the other, Civic, E36 323i, LWB 300zx TT, E36 M3 Evo, SWB 300zx TT, E39 M5.. can you see the pattern!

Thanks mate! Not standing out these days would probably be considered a good thing. Speed officer? Couldnt possibly be me...! Are you Joking? Its perfect! Absolutly as BMW intended and fabulous in every way! I have to apologise for the pictures! The only money i'll be spending is replacing anything thats not perfect anymore! You know what it is right? My zed is mechanically sound! Just time for a change, you should get your hands in your pockets and come and buy it!
