  1. That isnt a standard camber arm its aftermarket and so adjustable. Its just old! I have a standard one at home I can photograph for you, that came of my car on monday.
  2. Ah yeah i remember now! Also look at the boot build, still has darkside tt in it!
  3. Ive been told there was no camber adjustment in the standard front suspension, but enough in the rear to get around lowering. Looking at it, I cant see how there is any adjustment and the mechanic I had check my cars wheel alignment while we were discussing what to do with it agrees and its not possible - who tells you that it can be done?
  4. LOL WTF?! "Two Little Bad Points, One Of The Alloys Is Missing (Try Ebay) & A Slight Blow From The Exhaust " A missing alloy?!
  5. A bare metal respray will be big money. When mine was painted we simply took off the existing laquer and top coat, then repaired any areas that required it and then covered the car in primer and then the base and top coats. I would budget maybe £3000 for a bare metal respray - huge job!
  6. Cheap Italian performance? Reciepe for disaster - I wouldn't buy anything like that unless it had a warranty from a main dealer. Stunning cars and I would love one but that one sounds a risk! Still I'm sure somone would buy it! Have u fixed your m3 yet? managed to get all the bits okay?
  7. Very nice looking car! Big fan of pearl yellow, although han doesnt like it :( I have the same steering wheel! lol
  8. Dont burn your hands when you touch it do you?? Walk away sounds like a world of trouble.
  9. Lovely car! Although its alot of money its a rare thing!
  10. ;) http://www.dta-motorsport.com/marktplaats/versionr.htm
  11. Apparently not, although a press shot titled "improved forr 1994" was released for the european market and it was announced that the 300zx would have revised hicas and spoiler etc the model never came as it was dropped in the May of 94 so as far as i can tell no Euro/UK models had the table spoiler from factory :)
  12. PINK!... No Grey centre for me :)
  13. With all due respect you are looking at a "cheap" car there, I was looking at it my self and it looks quite good for a £1500 300zx. Be aware though that these cars can be expensive to look after! Perhaps try expanding your budget and you may find a UK car. Also have you tried LWB and turbo models in your search? I would suggest downloading and taking the buying guide (Although if this car is an NA your going to look at then ignore the bit about the turbos ;) ) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=127365
  14. Are you calling these places or using the internet? I often find for interesting cars comparison websites are useless. Try calling the places and explaining the situation! If not try looking for a UK zed, although it has to be said they can be in poorer condition than imports it doesnt mean they all are. Although they are all LWB TT's, so not like the SWB NA you were looking at. UK cars are hugely cheaper to insure than imports!
  15. Will do! Although im going from a mess (standard shocks all round, very very low aftermarket springs on the front and what I suspect are standard on the rear) to something good and matching. Only slight concern I have at the moment is the ride height, although I have agreed what I want with the garage I'm a touch concerned the coilovers I have wont do it!
  16. Insurance companies dont see that its essentially the same car. As its listed as a different model they have to take into account the repair costs including getting parts from the cars original market. Normally the reason why the insurance is more! To be fair though, i only pay 700 on a TT Slicktop and im 23 clean license 3 years NCB. You should be able to do better than that! Look for classic or cherished car insurance - and limit the milage down to 4k or so (assuming you'll only do a few miles a year in it)
  17. Getting my coilovers fitted as we speak along with adjustable tension rods and adjustable front camber arms... Hopefully should make a world of difference. THen getting my ebc setup properly tonight so cannot wait. Car is going to be sooo much better i hope! Really excited!
  18. That does look great! Much better without the chrome rings! Although I will admit its quite a pricey upgrade it seems! Looking like £260 + delivery. I suppose if it includes the senders and wiring etc its not bad.
  19. Is that 1995 pounds or pence?! Ah dear well as mentioned, a Matiz owner - what do you expect!
  20. Is that an original fan? Could they have been connected to a different fan along with the wires that go to that fan. Having no idea how fan speed control works this makes sense in my head?
  21. Shit... thats why its not gone boom, what are the chances that the fan got the bomb wires ;)
  22. Didnt think you could get the 3.0 one without an auto box and in estate mode??
  23. Okay, the disks above should do the trick, or at least give you a way of contacting 3G
  24. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300ZX-Fairlady-Z32-Twin-Turbo-Clutch-Kit-3-Piece-/230270819362?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item359d35dc22 + labour... to be fair any garage should be able to fit a clutch to a 300zx, exhausts of, propshaft off, gearbox of, replace clutch refit in reverse! I was once quoted £100 labour for changing the clutch on my M3 evo (basically the same procedure) that was a good price but shouldnt be more than £150 i wouldnt have thought!
  25. How they hell it guesses how powerful the car is I have no idea! lol If it works it out from weight and acceleration by knowing the weight of the car and being able to measure through an accelerometer and then compared that figure with a list of answers saying "this is 500bhp etc" Unless it works out the time taken to change speeds through the speed sensor... :s
