  1. Yeah but it wouldn't go to instant ban like I thought over 100 was?
  2. Bearing in mind that even the standard car is probably well out! at a genuine 100 most tend to be around the 93 mark or so... Car depending My M3 was almost spot on 99 gps@ 100 on speedo. my First zed was more like 93 gps @ 100 on speedo. Although I must admit this zed is the other way around, 110 gps @ 100 on speedo lol So got to be careful with that one... Most cars tend to overread a bit though for safety, so if your pushing it, your not pushing it as much as you think you are.
  3. You might be lucky... your speedo could well be quite in accurate at speed!
  4. Ah good good glad its all working again. Sadly I would wager that the original "base" of the laptop is working.
  5. Surely you woudl go up the M50!
  6. Actually sounds like memory failure to me. Hmm, we use alot of D610 for clients and I have seen one do something similar to that before when it had some ahem, fluid, interaction. However the fluid had actually killed the stick of memory replaced it and the laptop lived again :)
  7. Ha i had heard about this earlier today... oh dear!
  8. I bloody hope they go up in value! LOL After my last one which i bought for lots and sold for nothing, im hoping this one retains some value... although i keep spending more money on it :s I'd like to think they begin to gain value as there isnt that many nice ones left these days. Certainly nothing like as many coming from japan!
  9. Actually dose look a nice original car. The front strip of grey hasnt been colour coded - generally a good indication that its not been crashed on the front end!
  10. Ha no I rather have picked my own eye balls out. I took the opportunity to get a clear run home from the site I was at as the roads were empty :) Not a football fan, even my lass tries to watch it so i just pick up a book or play on my phone...! It makes it worse that I cant get away from it, if It wasnt thrust down my every oraface every minute of the day i might be slightly interested in the league tables but it just bores my to tears! The zed is my only car, the astra is a works van which I use for work obviously, rest of the time I use the zed. Shops, visiting mates, etc :)
  11. Right now I feel 1000... I'm 23 1995 Jap TT Slicktop 2009 AstraVan Sportive
  12. Try in the forsale section or look for breakers, quite often they crop up on eBay but of course there is often risk. Zedworld offer an engine replacement service they are in tamworth and really our closest zed specialist that can offer the complete package. Other than that there is phil, can't just remember where he works but it's in this section of the forum he would be able to fit the engine for you but I'm not sure if he could find one for you.
  13. I'd have loved to have been around in the 50's and 60's being a bit of a railway nut, the last days of steam are something that fascinate me... I'd have loved to have been involved with preservation from an early age. Especially wirh the welsh narrow gauge stuff, the stories written about the early days of the Talylln and the Ffestiniog railways are fantastic.
  14. You can get the perspex strip and light direct from nissan, lots of topics around on this. I take it your on with finishing of what the last people that painted your car started...! Im not sure what that spoiler on the red zed is, nice though!
  15. LOL! I hadnt even realised that you had said it the wrong way round... Teach me to not read stuff properly - I just see words and rearrange them in my head to what I think they should say! LOL
  16. Ahh i see. Just a common mistake alot of people make. :) The alpina really is the wolf in sheeps clothing, not as obvious as the M range but they are generally softer as well, often with auto gearboxes. It was once said they offer 98% performance of the M models but with the 100% of the comfort of a "normal" model. Also have the advantage of being factory delimited I believe!
  17. You sure you mean an alpina Daz, not an M3?
  18. Ah very nice! Manual or auto? Lovely cars - still an air of individuality unlike todays alpinas (the D3 to name the worst offender!) Still love my BM's, did i make a mistake selling my M3?? LOL
  19. Lol likewise! 200 to a tank of general running about, odd blast here and there steady motorway much better - I've done zedworld and back on 3/4 of a tank which is 270 mile round trip - was happy with that!
  20. What a chopper... Shame to ruin potentially nice cars.
  21. I've looked at this on autotrader and its bonny car! Problem is few people want a 300zx but hang in there and the right buyer will come along!
  22. I know exactly how they work and what they do, also how pointless they are (if anything slowing the car down) Just if its best to have them on the TB pipes rather than the intercooler feed pipes then maybe I should move them? To be honest I would prefer to have the standard recircs on but there we go, unless anyone has a set that are known to work and not leak??
  23. Have you owned that 7 years now? Hell fire! I was 20 when I had my first one, 23 with this one so fair enough ;) Nah I will be honest, if the car didnt have them I wouldnt fit them, but the problem I have is finding good recircs (although I havnt looked!) I cant imagine than any second user ones are going to be in good condition!
  24. Err are you sure?? LOL How old are again?
