True as its the wrong colour! Thats a nice car and could do with being left as stock as possible, not many left like that anymore!

300zx V8?
Although as said im sure it would fit, i would really see the point. That engine, although a great engine, wont produce much power I wouldnt have thought. Remember its a rover v8, now IIRC is produced 150 or so bhp in the original discovery/range rover/sd1 (I think that was on fuel injection, which I assume this one is you have found) If TVR worked wonders and made it 200bhp then they were doing well. Now while 200bhp would have been more than enough to punt an 1000kg TVR around briskly, it wont do much in a 280zx. It'll also be crushingly thirsty, and while I personally dont mind paying for power, Id be disgruntled about 12mpg and it still being slow!

My parts for sale.
Dropping the price every few weeks wont help either, makes you look desperate to sell so people will wait until they drop further and further.

HID's
Hi Dan, thats really helpfull thanks! To be honest, I bought the car with the HID's installed so I cant say if it did it before or not, but I have a feeling that it could be a short somewhere. My HID's seem to be brilliant white for a second or so and then go much dimmer. I'll have a look at taking it all to bits and checking the wiring, or get dad to check the wiring!

My lass spotted you around half 7 coming up towards Manchester... "It was black and like yours" so sorry no more details!

HID's
They do look fairly clean but its something i could give a try, do you have to remove the bumper to do that? Its almost as if they are opperating on lower power, if thats possible? What about the speedo jumping? (It also does it when i remove my seatbelt and the seatbelt warning light comes on)

HID's
My HID's are really dim, infact bloody awful. Its a recent kit so not that old, not that it means much but all the info etc. Basically when i switch them on they do flash quite brightly but then go alot dimmer, which makes driving difficult. Also weirdly, the speedo in the car jumps to 60-80-100mph or something like that when I turn them on, is it possible its an earthing issue? I seem to remember the HID's in my last 300zx were better, also the speedo didnt jump either! But maybe I hav rose tinted glasses as vs my astra or my M3 300zx lights are poor whatever.

own up sad feckers
I watched the first few minutes of the first episode and thought this is shite... The big where their airliner has fallen 36,000 feet and managed to crash land, some of them live, well thats possible I suppose... but the worst bit that I just couldnt forgive it for, is that jet engine, delicate things lets be honset! thats not destroyed its self, is still running with no fuel and no ancillaries to control it. Even though that is totally impossible for it still to be servicable, that retard stands infront of it until it suddenly accelerates (with no fuel, and the blades would be smashed!) and sucks him in. What a load of shit - END

Its time to say "goodbye" to...........
Ahh! My beloved, if only I didnt have the silver slicky :(... This car has got the sweetest sounding VG30DE motor i have ever heard! Couldnt believe how smooth it sounded on that cold December night back in 2007 when i collected my gearbox from you Pete! Absolute bargain whatever the price, lovely car :)

SUPRA/GTR FMIC on a Z32 TT?
Assuming that it will physically go in the space that you have for it, I cant see why there is no reason why an intercooler of anything with non sequential turbos wouldnt go on... Its a pressure vessel with two inputs and two outputs... Or have I missed the point? However, surely with a sequential system the intercooler would be like a single turbo set up, as there is only one set of boost pipes? So therefore the intercooler from that application wouldnt fit our cars?

Finally!
I will add although 100mph is good, thre should also be a minimum speed limit, police marksmen on bridges for people who drop below 70... Also ban anything towing from anywhere but the inside lane! That includes wagons who spend miles overtaking each other to gain a few yards! Oh! And immediate automatically deducted fines for people in the WRONG LANE!
-
Steering seems heavy
Yes but the steering on these cars is light at low speed and heavier at high to improve feel, so it would default to heavy if there was a problem, it can be caused by dodgy kmph/mph converters IIRC
-
Steering seems heavy
Isnt the power steering speed sensitive? Could be a speed sensor issue if so! Failing that its time for an arm upgrade :D

Finally!
Doesnt matter if the libdems and labour get into bed together, they still havnt got enough seats LOL (315 in total) So they need to negotiate with all the "others" to just scrape enough which will just get endless, imagine trying to get a green party MP to agree to anything that wasnt a Gwiz with lettuce?!

FAO anyone who drives for a living
I do a fair few miles for a living, but I work as well as it were. Last week for example, (4 day week!) I went from home, lancaster, to hull to train some customers, then to worksop to collect an old machine, then to st anns in nottingham to replace a laptop then to peterborough and stayed over night, work the wednesday and thursday in peterborough and then drove home to lancaster to vote, then drove to solihull to stay the night part of the way down the country, as I had to be in High wycombe and Reading on the Friday. So that works out to around 1000 miles, not a huge amount but I do do a service/installation/training/sales/repair/customer relations job at the same time.
