Obviously the spoiler on mine is going goosed.... so if i were to rip it of can i just stick a 99 spec straight on it? ..... Im assuming life would just be too easy if it happened to have the same mounting holes as the old foam effort? Or does it need some boot skin/massive fundage in order to make it look right? Also 99 spec front end, im under the impression that just bolts on (quick rattle can etc ;)) to fix the lack of paint and general rubbish condition of the front end of the car?

or if its a bit further back it could have a rattle glovebox catch like mine does... The single most annoying thing in the world and i should be allowed to kill people when it vibrates!

only that it might have done more than 200k ;) Is it an ex-taxi? I know a guy who had one and took it to 800k... the speedo was disconnected for 550k of them i believe... But as long as your not too hard on it than 200k isnt much for a diesel, not even much for a petrol anymore!

UK Turbo 278bhp (274bhp/278ps in the nissan sales brochure) with 272 lbft of torque for a manual, anything as low as 263bhp (269lbft of torque) for the auto USA NA 222BHP 198lbft of torque USA Turbo 300 if manual and 280 if auto both had 283lbft of torque Again... all these figures were many many moons ago!

sitll got the cruise limiter and the speed limiter, so yes!

Although it has an intermitant vibration at 55mph... (on wednesdays and sundays, when the wind blows from the east and its about 12*C outside....! not quite that fussy but it seems random!) It hasnt let me down in almost a year of ownership, only done 6k or so miles.... but its never not started, or stalled or done somthing strange. Thats from a fairly standard (it becomes less standard every day as i discover more things that it has that i didnt know about....) JDM Auto TT, been in the country 10 years. Tiny bit of rust on one arch (size of my little finger nail under the pain) and paint loss here and there.... which i'll fix soon. Buts its been great, as you can tell its in my good books at the moment!

Does my J spec auto have an aftermarket gearbox oil cooler?? Was helping a friend out trying my afm on his s14 tonight and noticed this cooler (well it looks like a cooler!) cable tied to the front bumper, with an MFR date of 39th week of 2002... Is it what i think it is? The silver thing below the air filter

nah it sounds like lockup engaging. It will do it in 2nd 3rd and 4th(overdrive) if you let it. If you feel a more metalic clunk as low speeds as it changes down then thats lockup disengaging, i get it in mine from time to time!
