  1. original is far better, i dont know why they feel the need to remake these classics, it doesnt offer anything new at all.
  2. This made 4 grand wow but still reserve not met, its been relisted with a buy now of 4500, seems a alot for what is essentially a series 1/2 import auto and cat D!
  3. try this as your sig http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm314/alanzed/DSC00420-1.jpg?t=1241388904 but add the tags click the link then copy whats in the address bar
  4. I believe its 3.5litres with a filter.
  5. if you do a search for "autobox problem, failure, not changing" etc you'll get countless similar threads, first thing to try is changing the oil but failure is a common problem it would seem.
  6. Your car is TWIN turbo and so needs TWIN intercoolers.
  7. haha glade plug ups, thanks for sharing so to speak.
  8. oh my word, someone on a suicide mission for sure, I never really understood auto electric could be so deadly until many years ago, a mate "installed" an amp in his rs turbo and had it laying around in the footwell and it somehow shorted out on the sill and almost burnt his car. The moral is if in doubt take it to a reputable professional installer.
  9. I'm just getting into photography, got my self a canon 30d and i find myself analysing pictures a lot more. Its a great feeling when you "capture" a good shot.
  10. I can't get that La Roux song out my head very 80s inspired and eerie vocals.
  11. just looking at the exif data embedded on those pics it says it was shot on iso 1600 with quite a low shutter speed 1/20 sec aperture F4.5 was it very dark? Great looking zed though.
  12. you will need a chip of some sort, and either a boost controller or boost jets that arent as precise as a boost controller but do the job. This is how to install boost jets Linky and you'll will need a chip matched for your injectors and upgrades if any.
  13. I liked them in the early days back in the 80's but didnt like the change in style when they came back. Might have to check this new one out though.

  15. Zautos is on your door step also, have taken mine there several times and they are very good. Calverton Drive, Strelley NG8
  16. 3rd repost is that a record
  17. Ive just had the 3 piece ones fitted, hopefully they should be ok.
  18. I've ran without one for a few years but i don't do a lot of milleage and not had any problems other than the power steering leak messing the road up, however I am getting one refitted this week as i'm in a process of sorting out all the small details now the major issues are sorted. Its mainly there to stop crap fouling the engine bay and the front one helps with air intake.
  19. Its an import as I suspected as it has folding mirrors and jap spec fog lights, indicators. Just had an email back from him confirming this.
  20. zcentre.co.uk is in nottingham and can supply some oem parts as well as aftermarket parts.
  21. Well actually its not a new zed but feels like one, just had the Stillen ARB front and rear with new droplinks, energy suspesion 3 piece tension rod bushes, rear track arms and hicas outer bushes fitted and 4 wheel alignment done. The rear wheel hop when goin over bumps, pot holes etc is gone, under braking the nose diving is gone, steering and cornering is much tighter and the sloppy overall feel is gone, I'm one happy zedder :hyper:
  22. I personally think the despoilered with 99 spec updates bumper rear lights etc looks the best, nice clean lines and has the profile Nissan intended. Heres one of mine from the side I just think it look sleek and sexy, its a shame my 99 spec bumper got destroyed so i settle for a stock one and still think they look great for a 20 year old car.
  23. most mainboards that you buy your self rather than from a pre built system allow over clocking to some degree, i have an e4300 core 2 duo on abit ab9 mainboard, stock speed is 1.8 gig and its running at 2.7 no problem at all with stock cooler, been running this a year fine. What programs will you be running you need to make sure they support multi core cpu's or its pointless splashing the cash really. I personnaly think i7 is overkill at the current prices. a q6600 overclocked will give you the best bang for buck.
  24. I say you''d be looking at around a £700-£1k for a low to medium spec I7 system. I would just go for a Q6600 setup and over clock it to 3.4 gig as they clock really easy and you would probably be looking at around £500 or that kind of system. These are build it your self prices.
  25. Sounds like a Truvelo they are usually forward facing and have a round lens on the front where as gatso's are rectangle and tend to be rear facing, they have sensors in the road rather than lines like a gatso.
