  1. Just tried Carol Nash and Lynbrook and I'm struggling to get any good prices mainly due to my car is my daily driver, best quote I've had so far is £460, anyone recommend any more, ive tried gocompare and confused.com these came up with the £460 fully comp protected NCB 6k miles parked on drive no points or claims in last 5 years, i think the import "tag" is killing the prices.
  2. Looks like a badly kitted supra to me, slower than a GTR 0-60.
  3. a couple of mates at work have them and they say its a big let down, very buggy software and crashing quite frequently.
  4. Yes mine did this but you just disconnect the green/yellow wire and it stops the bonging.
  5. Are you 100% on this as I can get 240miles to a tank surely if this was km that would be something like 150 miles on 70 litres of fuel.
  6. Have to heavily disagree with the Acer/Asus statement there they are some of the best made on the market for the price, Toshiba however have gone really bad in the last 3-4 years. I say this as I work in laptop repairs and Toshiba are by far one of the worst for failing.
  7. But that doesnt have a large screen or numeric keypad. :nono:
  8. Pcworld is a good place to go and look at nearly all of the latest ones on display in the new style shops. heres a couple from the website that I would recommend Packard Bell £499 don't be put off by the packard bell name they are made by Acer now. Acer with Windows 7 I wouldnt get one of the cheap HP G series or compaq CQ series as build quality is quite ropey. Don't think you will get BD capability with a £500 in mind. Ideally if your not bothered about graphics go for the fastest cpu for the money.
  9. just got back from benidorm last week, its a total shit hole, druggies, drunks, prostitutes, robbers, crap beer. But enjoyed the break and the weather was 28 degrees all week but dont expect anything remotely classy.
  10. This exif data on that photo says it was taken with a Nokia 95 its probably just the limited dynamic range showing up on that camera phone.
  11. found this on another forum equally gross http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/1286027.htm
  12. Not a big fan of graphics, but they seem to suit your car with the veilside kit which I hate, but doesn't look half as bad with the graphics, I guess they soften the blow. Voted keep.
  13. Thanks for the info, only problem is i don't have the washes from the NA bearing, just the prob and bearing itself. Are the washes just standard ones or a specific type.
  14. what about an NA auto centre bearing can these be put onto a TT auto, ive heard they can be modded to fit?
  15. could be lots of things, have a search for autobox problems on here you'll find lots have had similar problems, usual recommendations is to change the oil and clean the strainer, you can do diagnostics have a look in the faq section also.
  16. Great article into the insight of the engineering.
  17. Great choice, best spec, best engine and best colour for one of these and face lift too. I take it this wasnt £10k though? Edit and its also law to not have the roof down and the windows up, unless your a girl. Or a man with girly hair
  18. But from what I can gather the standard radiator does the perfect job of keeping the car at the optimum running temperature, why would you introduce more cooling surely this is taking the car out of the operating temperature?
  19. I take it most of these aftermarket radiators are for big power setups, I couldnt get the temperature to go up on my stock system by more than a couple of degrees with any amount of hard driving, temps read from laptop via conzult cable.
  20. fogs are in the bumper on a uk spec, so you cant really transfer them over.
  21. you can put tomtom on the binatone x350 also but its quite slow to initially lock on, but once locked its fine, i picked one up for £15. The Navigo V2 is a nice unit and will run the latest tomtom.
  22. :hurl: Its looks like some barry boy spoiler that would belong on a 17 years old saxo. Sorry but you did ask.
  23. how fast were you going to acheive that?
  24. Only draw back with gift is unless you trust the person you have no comeback if they don't keep their end of the bargain, the fees are there to cover claims if any need to be made.
