Most likely are a speedo convertor if its's a J-spec, or the speed sensor.

My left one decided to block itself recently. I took the pipe off the jet nozzle to prove the water was pumping out ok then I removed the nozzle itself. Inside is a ballbearing valve that was jammed closed. After a little persuasion it all works again.

This any good?

Sounds like its been fooked about with to me mate. According to the manual that circuit should be: "Rear wiper motor, rear washer motor, time control unit, clock, door mirror system"

PTU = Power Transistor Unit . Think of it as an electronic distributer. It switches each coil pack on which then produces the spark at the plug.

Make sure the battery terminals are good and tight too.
