Yep, agree with Carl. Take loads of photos and also draw a 'map' of the scene showing where you were on the road etc. to explain everything to the insurers easily. Also, if there are no road marking yet two lanes somehow merge in to one, do you have a claim against the council?

The fuse you replaced is for "Clearance Lights". Is yours an import? Has somebody changed the lights/bumper and fecked up the wiring?

Plug your old light clusters back in and check they work ok first.
