  1. I tried a magnet and the socket has turned and is wedged in there........
  2. well was doing some work removing EGR and the bloody 12mm long reach socket dropped down the rear pipe and into the snail shell of my drivers side turbo...... I have tried a magnet on wire, wire, everything I can think of and cannot get it out..... stripped the front pipe off and can see blades.... Removed elbow, removed all but 1 manifold nut and washer... can't get to it due to the inlet being in the way, can't seem to get to the 4 bolts holding the turbo to the manifold..... Any idea's..... my arms and hands hurt from trying to get to these bolts...... I was actually going well till this bloody nightmare.... Can you rotate the inlet side of the turbo so I can get to the manifold bolt? Mine seems to have a big cir clip holding it on and can't remove that as can't get to it..... AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH..........
  3. And here's the car she is bringing for the stand.......
  4. Well I have found a picture of one of the flux girls at the last subaru show...... She will look good on your car mate..... lol

  6. I feel better.............. I'm not the only plonked that breaks things.....lol I do hope that was a spare one.......??
  7. A bit of sellotape and that will be fine........lol Change it..... Nice new one and no worries for years...... You don't want to have to do it after the engine is back in do you????
  8. I am in Leigh on sea..... I have been using Morelli as a friend works for them and got everything for me at cost.....lol But he has moved to another branch...... so have to pay full whack now.....lol
  9. Thanks Si and Ian.... The code is the same on both de beers fiches apparently..... they changed the mix as they realised it was incorrect in 2002..... But my sprayer used the earlier incorrect mix formula.... Soooo mine is ermmmm a wrong un...... (don't say anything about the veilside bodykit Si )......lol I shall try Brown Bros on monday.... Going to try and take panel to CARS on Canvey island tomorrow morning.... they claim they can colour match..... Can you get a colour match from a panel if it is metallic and pearl ? I am hoping they can mix a rattle can so I can test it on my rear spoiler I wet flat today..... I left a section untouched so I can test spray to see if metallics match. The newer de beer formula had more blue than silver and red, if I remember..... was 2002.....lol Again.... Thanks Si and Ian....
  10. I stupidly got carried away and didn't take pictures after skimming and painting.... But I did get some pics of the skirting bonded back on last night ..... Oh and this was the wrapping of the roof.....
  11. well these are after the grinding session and before I used some body filler.....
  12. Try not to dribble or drool............lol
  13. Hi in 2000 my Z was painted in de beer Porsche Amethyst by a local sprayer.... In 2002 de beer changed the mix on their microfiche.... We found this out after my painter tried to replace the front bumper after accident damage and thought he was going mad when the paint was different..... He checked and resprayed and again wrong colour mix.... He managed to get the right mix formula and did it...... But now I need it resprayed he can't find his 10 year old diary with paint code in it...... It is metallic and has pearl... de beer are being very unhelpful and nobody seems to have the 2000 de beer microfiche anymore.... Tried colour matching by local company and it has wrong metallic fleck colour to it..... more blue..... any idea's?? I am worried now that it will be a full respray rather than just the bonnet, boot and spoilers.....

  17. I drove mine into a pillar before and nearly took out the front of my house....... Thought I had bled the brakes okay.... seemed fine... went to park on drive and couldn't stop..... air in the lines...and think the abs pump...?? I felt the same, sick, angry at myself..... Is the car insured? what is the excess? Is it worth a claim?..... Sorry to hear this..... Hope everything gets sorted for you soon.... Russ
  18. I do believe they would see how helpful you really are mikey.....lol Is that what you don't want people to know.......lol
  19. This is again why this forum and it's members are so good..... Well done Keith, Mikey and Lee...... I have never met such helpful and generous people as on here apart from back in the day owning a VW beetle.....
  20. This probably would be a good solution for traders and buyers as Harby300 said........ If a trader has a 2nd bar for 'trading Rep' and only added to by people who buy from them.... Or a more Amazon approach and leave 'feedback' for a trader on their trading section? You could rate them out of 10, leave a comment about how quickly posted, value for money and helpfulness??? I think this would be an advantage to the traders.... If they are as I have found, helpful, reliable, honest and post quickly.... they get thanks for that so others can see it.... Maybe attracting more sales for them and stop posts about bad communication, missing parts / money, etc.... I know the official traders will agree reputation means a lot..... A simple feedback form would do that you can type into showing item, comments and ratings out of 10 for delivery and as described??? This could be a sticky under 'Traders comments and reputation'? I must say every single item I have bought or been sent as a gift has been sent quickly and reasonably priced....And every single person I have dealt with or has helped me has been absolutely top notch..... This is why I would rather buy from on this forum than fleabay... Russ
  21. Hi Alfie34, can you not manipulate the exhaust hangers to pull the exhaust further inward? Is there any room to adjust the exhaust boxes rather than adjusting the lower spoiler?
