Hi Richie, Forgot to say... Yes wrapped it to protect the boot lid till it gets resprayed... Not brilliant, but does stop water getting under the flaking paintwork.... lol

No spoiler at the moment...... I'm liking the clean line of the smoothed boot without the rear wiper arm.... I got the 99 spec via Mondo.... who collected it for me and posted it on to me...... Absolute diamond..... - - - Updated - - - I will get a picture tomorrow if i get a moment......

I have now removed the front bumper and boot spoilers.... and Fitted a 99 spec front bumper with a carmad lower lip and smoothed the boot lid with No spoiler.... Before the carmad lip was fitted....

When I rebuilt her and fitted the Veilside kit back in 2001...... with original veilside bumper After insurance company used a replica front bumper to replace the damaged C1 version..... The kit covered the bodywork imperfections and looked cool at the time.........

After Si's pointer to the Journal section I am going to start my journal on removing the veilside kit and 90's style removal..... When I bought her......

Their superglue with the brush in the bottle as well as the nozzle is the best I have found...... it actually sticks what you want it to stick and not your fingers together.... lol Go team Gorilla...... lol

Right, just spoke to Jimmer and will be sending him the prop shaft when I check the fitment... First I need to fit the transmission to check it.... lol So looks like I will be getting her in the air and swapping boxes in the next few weeks......... I need a one piece prop that fits the same as an Auto TT front section ( fitting a TT box ) and NA Auto rear section as mine is NA diff..... I guess I will have to get a quote from Jimmer to make me one then.... lol

Help, where can I get the centre bearing at a reasonable price?

It all depends on getting the time to fit the replacement transmission and get the prop shaft balanced...... I am looking to try for beaulieu...... one year.... lol

Congratulations Stephen....... now I see why you have been so busy.... lol Get some Bilthamber rust treatment DEOX-C ..... works so well on rusty metal. Just wire brush and treat surface rust..... soaks in the powder and warm water..... Amazing stuff.... The Z parts...... not the baby....... lol
