  1. The only thing I'm rubbing in Joely is the Belgom Alu :p would love to sell it to you but you wouldnt like it, it's a ropy old auto. :D Anyway Andy Isherwoods got first dibs on the rims, sorry
  2. My wheels are unlaquered ally and just started using "Belgom Alu". Its a bright metal polish but contains wax so resists dulling and oxidation for longer. did them about 3 weeks ago and still look bright. Heres some clicky pics of before and after :D Before :( After
  3. The blue zed is mine, which means I should now who's the red one is
  4. I've swopped a few set's of rear lights about and that black bitumen sealant does get everywhere, you cant get it of the light apertures or the light clusters. So Last time I changed a set I did some experimenting to find something to remove it. Worked me way through the garage and medicine cabinet, nothing would touch it, white spirit, thinners, nail varnish remover, WD40 etc etc. but I got there in the end, Paint brush cleaner! the blue stuff that looks like anti freeze, you get from any DIY store, after scraping the worst of it dissloves the rest of easy and gets it of your hands too. :D
  5. Code 21 is ignition signal fault, you say your going to try a different ecu? Have you had your current ecu unplugged at any time and if so are you sure that the plug is re-seated firmly in the socket? this caused me no end of problems on my N/A. I kept getting code 21 and misfiring/ non starting. After changing just about everything that was possibly at fault It turned out to be poor ECU connection, DOH!
  6. The leather in my car is generally in pretty good shape but it has the usual cracks and crease lines on the drivers seat pad and bolsters. I did a forum search for leather repair but most of the posts are fairly old, has anyone used any specific products recently they can recommend? I was going to try the kit from furnitureclinic, Any opinions? :D http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Colour_Repair_Kit.htm
  7. Well done, congratulations to you both.

  9. Taken from pistonheads. :D http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=18275 RUMOURMILL: V8 FOR NEXT NISSAN Z?
  10. If you get one of the ebay pulleys, you may find the keyway slot in the pulley is too small. Will probably need dressing out with a small file to make fit, otherwise no problems. :)
  11. Honda have been working on the NSX replacement for a while but I keep reading that the honda exec's have rejected a few designs and cant make their mind up as to what engine to put in?
  12. Yeah, being a decontamination tent It's designed to withstand a nuclear blast
  13. A pic of the Sunday morning carnage. :(
  14. I was there from about 10am Saturday. It rained all the way there, it was overcast and rained most of that Day, It rained really heavy Sat night and my tent leaked and filled up. Sunday Morning the wind was so powerfull it ripped our Gazebo (and a few other's) right off the ground and wrecked it and the wind howled all day long! Apart from that it was lovely :)
  15. Some of the other shiny stuff that caught my eye. :)
  16. Few shots of the Zeds.
  17. "If I can get this big lump of metal out, should be able to get down in the 13's"
  18. It didnt take your new girlfriend long to work you out Andy  Sorry to hear about the brakes, was looking forward to having a natter with you. glad it's sorted.:)
  19. Should have mentioned that the image resolution may be a bit wooly and not super sharp using a vga to video converter but it will work, it's what I use.
  20. provided the unit you buy has a spare video input (they usualy have one for connecting a reversing camera) you can use a vga to video convertor. readily available of ebay. :)
  21. Sorry to hear that saga Nick. I had a similar but not as bad experience in France once when I broke down on a Motorbike. Had European cover with the AA but similar story, recovery truck maybe there by tomorrow they said blah blah blah. oh Great! Luckily I was just outside Calais on my way home only about 2 miles or so from ferry port. So not wanting to miss my crossing and leave the bike by the side of the road only to have it lifted by thieves. I pushed it all the way to the ferry, up the ramp on to the ferry, off the ferry at Dover and all through the port out to the roundabout outside the port (sweating like a glass blowers ar*e by this time) and then rung the AA again. they got there in about an hour and got me home. not fun :nono:
  22. I'm going both days but will be cross dressing and putting on me heels and lippy as I'll be with the Jap Girls
