Wide arch rear body, how to widen rear wheel base?
All four rims on my fat arse fill the arches perfect with no spacers. the rims come from "Image" who will manufacture the rims to order with offset to suit the kit (not cheap but superb quality) http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/ Clicky pics

Intermittent cylinder loss?
If still a problem, check the main plug on the ECU is fully seated in the socket. Had all the same issues that you mention and likewise on No 6, changed out everything with no joy and eventually traced it to the ECU plug not seated correctly........Doh..!

hard pipe kits for TT
There not very good, the silicone couplers and hose clips are a reasonable quality, but the pipes are hopeless. They are too long and need to be cut down and the shaped bends are not perfectly correct. By the time you've filled then full of dents and marks trying to cut them down and get them to fit you will wish you hadnt bothered. :smash:

Quick question
Here you go then, some clicky pic angles of my widearch. I voted yes based on looks but in my opinion the wider rear track is actually slightly detrimental to the ride and handling. I would also budget for adjustable upper links and torque arms and lock out the Hicas. If your gonna stick with the 19" rims you will also need to consider your rear shocks, ride height and wheel spacers carefully or the wheels will be forever rubbing the arches. Also if the cars got high miles you may as well fit new wheel bearings while your fitting the rest or they will soon give up.
