  1. Could have been me on me way home but 7pm sounds a bit too late?
  2. Was a long day and had to be up at 5 to get there on time but well worth it and thanks to Ceejay and Luke for organizing.
  3. Can anyone coming in this convoy give an idea as to what time you think will arrive at the heritage centre? My journey is about 3 hours ish and trying to get an idea what time to leave home?
  4. Towsure do spring hooks? http://www.towsure.com/product/1050-Spring_Hook or rope hooks? http://www.towsure.com/product/178-Rope_Hook_(Pack_of_10)
  5. yes I'll be there and so far the forecast might be good unless you know different?
  6. I'm going both days and camping and hopefully running my car :)
  7. It's nothing new for the Germans, it's a zeppelin Airship with wheels. Probably get nicknamed the Hindenberg :D
  8. No bud, not ready yet for another dyno run and would rather save the pennys for petrol to get to Supercar Sunday and Japshow. :)
  9. Having the money to afford it! and thats about it. Its a daring design by Lambo and will either look better with time or date very quickly (it's already had a head start) and be ridiculed in the years to come as lambo's ugly duckling :D
  10. If you change your mind I've also got a spare stock panel you can have.
  11. looks o.k. bud, certainly looks clean and uncluttered. Shame I didn't know you were planning that because I've got a blacked out centre panel in the garage you could have had. I assume you've have spray painted your original panel?
  12. there the cheapy chinese set off ebay from Autobhan. Had a set on my N/A. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Z32-300ZX-Dual-Air-Intake-Kit-Fairlady-Induction-Turbo_W0QQitemZ310054669633QQihZ021QQcategoryZ40199QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. Did the previous belt snap? and therefore had you driven it for a while with no charge? If so it could be that now the battery charge is low, if you've got a test meter check across the battery terminals and if below 10v charge it for an hour or so and try again. if above 10v I don't think it's the battery :) Edit, cant be that as just remembered its the same belt as water pump so would have boiled. apologies for bum info.
  14. Agreed. for my liking , missing are the Bugatti EB110 and the Cizeta V16 :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugatti_EB110 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cizeta-Moroder_V16T
  15. And heres the brushed ally. as mac1 says, glue is one time only and once on it's on it will never come off so make sure you really like it before fitting. :)
  16. If it's any consolation, I fitted a brushed ally kit in my N/A and had all the same probs as you. ashtray lid catching, cutting holes for alarm led etc etc. The worse bit was the windscreen vents, If you haven't fitted them yet DONT! Just lay them in place for now and see how you get on driving. Dont know about the carbon fibre but the brushed ally reflect up on the windscreen and obscure your view, A right PITA! Apart from that looked great once fitted:)
  17. I would like to attend if there's still space? ) Ceejay ( 2 ) Shel ZX ( 3 ) Slick Pete ( 4 ) gazzerr1 ( 5 ) Mario ( 6 ) Luke ( Zcentre ) ( 7 ) Vinz ( 8 ) Ed ( 9 ) Andy Isherwood (10) Dan Hunter (11) Zulley (12) tizer (13) Monster21 (14) Croeso
  18. Andy, I changed the the bottom pulley on my Auto N/A and didnt use any special tricks. just a long cracking bar and socket. Before removing any of the belts to give extra resistance bring it to compression and just twat the bar a few times with a big hammer to crack it, Make it the last nut you retighten when when you put it back together and retighten the same way. I Never had a problem and I only had my one arm so you should have no probs mate. Well worth trying first:)

  20. It would have been o.k. if she'd offer to extract my testi's via her mouth:D
  21. Today at about 3ish on Sandgate seafront by the ice cream hut. I was walking along seafront with the missus, was gonna have come over for a chat but the missus said If I walked off and left her she would extract my testi's via my mouth so thought better off it.:D
  22. A quick google search brought up this place in Derby. They use 'Super Tracker' which can do full four wheel laser alignment. My local tyre place uses the same and they have always done my cars ok. GTO and Zed. will give you printout of before and after settings:dance: http://www.jcs-kegworth.co.uk/service.html
  23. Andy, Ford used to do the Cortinas in the same colour called 'Jupiter red', sounds better than DOG KNOB RED Not that I'm suggesting that your car looks like an old Cortina obviously  http://cortinachris.co.uk/resources/mk4.jpg
  24. I use Meguiars 'gold class' liquid wax. no abrasives, goes on easy and buffs easy and dont leave white marks on rubbers. I also use the Tetrosyl paint prep at the start of the summer to really deep clean the paintwork prior to waxing. :D
  25. I think it would be good if you could emphasize that its a charity event in the title (helps it look more sympathetic to the cause and politically correct) and to keep the Nissan performance theme something like: Nissan Performance ChariZy Weekender Or does that sound shit as well?:(
