  1. Funnily enough, I think that one's been in the small-ads in the back of Japanese Performance for the last "n" months ... Not surprised, either, at that price/spec ... How do they expect to sell them?
  2. Oh, I don't know .. at my 30th birthday bbq, there were definitely fairies and elves at the end of my garden, I know, 'cos I was talking to 'em!! :D And as for Santa Claus ... still visits me every year - guess I'm just a good boy! :D JB.
  3. Hat off ... Bloody good effort. :D Well done Roy, looks superb. CheerZ, JB.

    Harsh but fair!!! :D:D:D
  5. Yep, the tide is turning!! :D Even got some additional kind words from an R32 owner! :) Cor, it only people were that friendly over here! ;) :D:D:D:D
  6. Agreed! Done :) ... uh-oh, here we go with *another* forum!
  7. Indeed .. Perfect!! :D:D LMAO!
  8. Never driven a normal Carrera 2, but did drive my mate home in his 996 turbo (Carrera 4) a couple of weeks ago .... Now that did shift! 420 bhp version, 0-62 in 4.2, and way more mid-range than my Z :( Seriously quick. In fact, the fastest car I have ever been in, apart from Steve E's Z two days later!! :D Mind you, it did cost him 93k ... silly arse! Imagine letting me have a go!! :D:D
  9. Agreed Chris, it is indeed a nice 'un - in fact, even Mrs John-Boy picked it out as she flicked through as a nice car, before even realising that it was a 300 ... She was really taken with the Fiat rear-light conversion, although I'm not sure it would look right on a black car  BTW, I think you'll find it would be *even* nicer if it was black and manual LOL :D:D
  10. Not me either :D, But I've seen quite a few at meets ... it'll be interesting to see the balance though .. in a statto kind of way ;)
  11. I would suggest it's down to a bug in some of the contacts! :D:D I'd suggesting re-loading with upgraded versions ;)
  12. Agreed Glen - it is indeed a good deal - so good in fact that I applied for one ... seemed like a good place to stack a small Kilimanjaro of debt ... However, it would seem that the feckers never actually bother to process your application, thus negating some of the interest savings!! :D 4 weeks and counting so far  "thank-you Barclaycard" ... :D
  13. Jeesh man! That bloke has a seriously long finger! ;) What a freak! :D:D
  14. Oooh no ... I don't think pop-up lights are your man at all ... after all, the Z32 was probably a major trend setter in the move away from such horrors!! However, you're quite right to mention the lack of lights produced by the OEM beauties! :) I would suggest trying some of the fine super-ice-white bulbs offered by PIAA click here These are the dog's danglies IMO! :):D CheerZ, JB.
  15. Oh yeah .. should also mentions  that when stripping all the trim out of my boot at the w/e .. guess what I found :D:D Yep, that's right - a nice set of targa straps ... so now I'm doubly glad that they went to a needy home and not a lazy git like myself :) CheerZ, JB.
  16. LOL - very good!! :D However, does Daventry really qualify as "up norf" or are you in fact a bit of a fraud, Mr Shrimp??? ;) I bet you don't even have a whippet! :D
  17. He he ... now you really *are* joking!! :D:D Now where'd I put that shandy?? ;) CheerZ, JB.
  18. Some people are just *never* satisfied, are they?? ;) How much garage/driveway space have you got? Or do you just rent a paddock? :D
  19. Jock, The speedo problem could well be your speed sensor - mine suffers the same symptoms, but only when it's really cold ... it also makes the HICAS light come on, but I guess that's not going to aid the diagnosis in your case - don't think you have that on an NA, do you? Perhaps someone else can suggest a further test? As for the rev limiter - sounds odd ... mine certainly doesn't activate 'til 7200-ish, as expected. I believe that it's ECU controlled though, so I guess that a revised chip will help you shift the limit. HTH, JB.
  20. Me too! But am I missing something on the humour front here, Pete? ;):D
  21. Red Convertible Z spotted (complete with nice kit and alloys) ..... last night in Swanley ... very nice :):) ... Anyone from here? Not seen it before, in fact not sure I've seen a convertible one on the road at all .. Mark, was it one of your 45 cars?? ;) CheerZ, JB.
  22. LMAO@Stu! :D Do you think those extended tags should be incorporated into "Z-html"?? ;)
  23. Should have gone to Specsavers .... ;) Still sat here .. large as life :D

Jeesh Mate - that's awful :( Perhaps you do need to employ the Macca tactics ... sounds like someone is seriously taking the p*ss and in need of some "correction" .... You're right .. if you dwell too much on all the dishonesty and self-interest that surrounds us these days, you may as well stay in bed. Hope it picks up ...
  25. - Planet Thanet!! :D:D You do!! ;) tee-hee ....
