I have just fitted Blitz ones on the hard pipes Craig, they aint that loud. Z1 Motorsports do RLF (Really F***** Loud) and there are a few forum members with them. As for cost etc u might be lucky and pic up some second hand ones on here. You dont per chance know Michael from down your way with the TT as I have met him a few times? Cheers John

I havent done anything with the recircs other than remove the pipe from the manifold and use that for the new fit valves. I have seen posts that does mention blanking them but I thought I would get away with leaving them on. Guess I need to blank them then. Cheers John

Thanks for the replies guys. When I fitted the valves only when I really pushed the car was there any sound from the valves. I have adjusted the screws on both in and now I can hear the valves exhaust when under load but not as high as before. As a matter of intrest what length of the adjuster is left on your valves so I can compare. I have no issues with stauling etc after fitting them. Cheers John

Can anyone tell me how long the adjuster screw is on their blitz BOV's asmine sound like an owl only at high boost, no response an lower end and my thinking is they need set up. Cheers John

Bump, no one adjusted Blitz BOV's or can anyone tell what height the adjuster screw is on their valves?

Not to paint a bad picture here but I bought the usb cable/software and couldnt get it to work due to driver problems and I ended up with the Serial port cable which worked fine. I guess it depends on your laptop. Just my 2p's worth m8. Cheers John

I just fitted 2 Blitz BOV's I got recently but the only time I hear them is under real hard acceleration, I would have thought with the boost climbing under most conditions they would vent in some way or form. I see from the previous owners posts he had issues with the car stauling and I see one of the adjusting screws was loose like they have been adjusted, anyone ever adjusted Blitz BOV's and if so how much thread is showing on the adjuster screws? Dunno m8 never played it but at a guess its probably similar. Its my 1st online game and for me its awsome whether its Sniper, Free For All or any of the other servers its a fantastic game. Cheers John

When u select 'join game' the page with the servers has 'new favourite' on the right hand top area of the screen. Add the ip number to it and away we go. The 2 servers ip's i gave above are not password protected. Cheers John

Good call lol I dont feel as bad. I have had the game for about 10 months but wouldnt play online as I didnt have anything in my mic socket so after sorting that problem I played Free For All relentlessly then I found the sniping and its went from bad to worse lol. Cheers John

Well if u give them a try and u see {ubb-6}joe-blog give me a shout lol. I am totally hooked and her indoors is going off her nut at the amount of time I am online playing lol but it could be worse I say I aint in the pub. As for COD4 /Battlefield I have only ever played COD4. Cheers John

My point here guys is I am hooked on the sniper servers either the ubbservers.com one or metal-headz.co.uk . The ip numbers are as follows: Metal-Headz 193.47.83.223:28935 UBB 193.47.83.178:28933 These servers are not listed when u refresh the server list on starting the game, cant say why that is but its like playing on a map with a minefiled/river in the middle that u cant cross to the other side of the map which is a mirror image. Its completely different to Free For All or anything else like that as thats all I used to play. There are a few other servers but they aint that busy. Metal-headz usually has 30 plus people in it up to 44 or 45 tops. As for aimbots I aint seen anyone getting 100 kills without gettin killed and usually these people are kicked. The ubb FFA servers are well policed and people post on thge website about banning the muppets who cheat. Cheers John

Was that 300 not maybee at Dickson's in Perth a few years ago I remember they had a Red R-reg 300 for ages then I remember it being for sale where it is just now but I think the company in Cairneyhill traded as someone else. I had my custom system built by myself and my mate (who is a welder) for under £200 plus a bottle of vodka and whisky. It consisits of 2 sections of 3 inch merged into 4 inch which goes into a single silencer which was custom made. I got the 4 inch pipes from a skip at work (was actually 4 inch Volvo FL6 Truck exhaust pipes that were being scarpped). Its from the cats back and sounds awsome when kicked and not too loud. It does pay to be handy and use favours/mates to help you and not rely on companies charging a fortune. Cheers John

Alan I have an Blackberry 8310 Curve and have just done battle with Vodafone who advertised 'Free sat nav' when I took out the contract.......to get it to work u need to subscribe to the Blackberry e-mail service at a further £15 a month on top of your contract. I eventually got it FOC as the sales girl didnt have a clue when I took the contract out over the phone but she didnt tell me about the extra costs. I took the phone to France and used the sat nav where it downloaded new maps (6kb here and there) at a cost of like £0.04 here and there which I wasnt bothered about. What network provider is the phone with m8 thats my experience with Vodaphone. After about 4 phone calls I eventually chose 'thinking of leaving Vodafone' and that did the trick, they gave me a years subscription FOC. If you are setting up a contract it might be worthwhile asking if the e-mails etc is covered by the contract or do you need the Blackberry subscription as well. Cheers John
