Mikey....hows goes it first of all lol....but please refrain from using big words. As for a meet I was thinking more of Paisley as its handy for me and as I said there are a few very local to this area. Being hoenst I would love to travel a bit in the zed but am scared the auto box will give up the ghost as I aint changed it to manual yet. Cheers John

Guys I am up for a more local meet rather than travelling a bit as my car still has the dodgy auto in it and dont want toi chance going any real distance in it. There are quite a few cars local to Paisley/Barrhead/Greenock etc so maybee one sunday afternoon in the near future hows about arranging something. I know one guy who isnt on the forum has a 300 and would be up for something like this. Ossian I am not trying to take away from a central meet as I know u guys are only an hour away from Glasgow so if anyone from further affield wants to show they are welcome. BTW hows the sniping...... Cheers John
  5. RIP Condolences to all his family John
  6. I dont think there is a dislike of Lewis either. He is a small part of a team, what do his team mates get for their hard work. Being honest IMO honours and things like that are old fashioned and it wouldnt make me feel or treat him any different. All the people that were honoured have done something but as people said what about the soldiers. All the best Cheers John
  7. Happy new year all the best for 09 Cheers John
  8. If it helps I have 2 sections of 3 inch bore merged into 4 inch to one can which is 2.5 inches straight through. The 4 inch bore pipes were from Eminox and were actually for a a Volvo FL6 truck. As for what you are doing thatsa different kettle of fish. Mine has a deep drone which is loud on full pelt but not Corsa 1-litre loud, to me sounds like a racing car lol. Cheers John
  9. Just remember the old electrical saying......red to red, black to black.........and blue to f***. lol get the picture. Cheers John
  10. Hi Craig Pics as promised of the drivers side rear light from inside the boot. Looks like I fused the feed side and not the earth as stated earlier. Looks like black is earth and red witha green trace is the brake light feed. Hope these help. Cheers John
  11. Loadsa wires nothing else lol. I will have my car out the garage in a bit I will have a look. Cheers John
  12. Craig There are no extra wires. I hooked into the earth and the brake light feed, using in-line fuses on the feed and the earth side. Overkill maybee but better to just in case any problems. Cheers John
  13. I got done a few years ago in the works van, they wouldnt let me off, cost me the fine and £80 on the insurance. Some of them are ok I know from work. Cheers John
  14. Craig you should be able to find the exact wires with a testlight/multimeter if you have them. If not I will have a look at my car and see the colours, the only thing being my car is UK spec just in case they are different. I have never worked offshore but used to be on call normally over new year, annoyong at the time but the money's good. Cheers John
  15. Craig I located the brake light wires inside the drivers side light pod on my car and hooked into the wires, I fused both sides (feed and earth), then ran twin core to the extra brake light in the high spoiler I fitted. Cant remember the wire colours though. HTH Cheers John
  16. I bought AVG full version for 3 pc's for 2 years last Christmas, it cost me £65. Havent had any problems with my pc as of yet and it runs on Vista, the kids other 2 pc's are XP. cheers John
  17. Hallo Alan Hows it going m8 all ready for Santa? With regards yer pics they just show what can happen running over debris on the road. I remember a few years ago when I worked with Volvo we had a unit towed in from the M8. The driver said he never seen anything but on investigation he had ran over a length of strap (like from a ratchet strap, with the hook but not the ratchet) and it ended up getting wrapped around the front prop section, only thing was it hooked around the brake pipes/battery cables/fuel pipes inside the chassis and quickly gave me 2 days work repiping the truck. Didnt get any pics but the driver was 'interviewed' after it as his boss went tonto. All the best. Cheers John

Hi Guys Not mine, only done about 10 miles in my car in the last month, had the money for the manual conversion but have raided it for santa ffs so back to saving again. There is a guy called michael from Greenock but am unsure what colour his 300 is. Cheers John
  20. Lol where do I start. Probably after the new year I have a manual conversion either gonna do this myself or my mate's garage will do it for mates rates, I have Viper Wings to fit, Lambo lights to fit, the rear Wings West spoiler to get merged/painted plus finish fitting the panels removed from inside the car while fitting the A-pillar pod, plus its due a service as well so plenty plans but not much moving at the mmoment lol. And it is never ending! Cheers John
  21. Del Look for a donor car to strip you will end up getting money back for rthe parts u sell plus have the full manual conversion. I bought Shrek's car and broke it as my auto is playing up but I will get it changed after the new year to manual. Its a lot of work but worth it, Ebay helping sell parts. With the current prices I would like to think u could get a donor car for decent money. As for the conversion, I am a mechanic to trade but I work on commercials/psv's but I have a price of £500 from a mate's garage to change the car to manual but I have fitted the clutch pedal and will strip out the centre console etc and am not worried about reverse lights working or the cruise control wiring etc. These bits I will tidy up myself. Cheers John
  22. I bought mine from a Forum member a few years ago but there was an oil press gauge there as well. I ended up buying a voltmeter from http://www.flat4online.co.uk but from the link below they are quite expensive now. I think I paid £50 for the Voltmeter. http://www.flat4online.co.uk/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=AC+Autotechnic&search_in_description=1&inc_subcat=1 HTH Cheers John
  23. AC Autotechnic S7 Invision Boost, Temp and Voltmeter. Wiring a doddle with the feed taken from the clock, extra coolant sender fitted to aftermarket top rad hose. Gauges awsome at night but sunny days they can be hard to see. Cheers John
  24. Just paid my renewal with paypal. My paypal addy is jc300tt. Cheers John Crisp
