  1. I broke a car, sold parts on here, ebay etc. It honestly is a nightmare. No excuse for not keeping people up to speed with whats happening with their parts/hard earned cash. Hopefully all will be resolved asap. Cheers John
  2. LOL at least the stuff arrived thats the main thing. I see in some previous posts people are saying the cooler at the rear is for the diff, the car I broke the pipes went to the rear from the box. I was gonna link the pipes together with a bit of silicone hose, does the same job. Cheers John
  3. Del I asked the question when I stripped the car. There was an oil cooler at the rear of the car and I was told u dont need it so I never strippped it off the car as it was rotten. I was gonna blank the pipes. I take it the bolts arrived? Cheers John
  4. Just done it there m8, deffo m6 x 1.0 mm and m8 x 1.25mm. I looked at the taps I use all the time in me toolbox. I did say in my origional post m8 x 1.5, its deffo 1.25 pitch. Sorry for the delay. Cheers John
  5. Dave I am quite sure they will be m6 x 1.0mm thread pitch, and m8 x 1.5mm pitch. I work with all this stuff and amazingly I cant remember 100%. I will look tomorrow and confirm if someone else hasnt which I think they will. Old age aint easy, amazin the useless crap u can remember as well. Cheers John
  6. Alan Am guessing its a First Bus with fire damage. Sorry to hear that happened to u m8, I hate taking seats/panels, if yer no lying in someone's p*** its needle alert, the buses are stinking inside, even more so after a fire. A word of caution, we had a company called 'Burgoines' in trying to tell us what happened with another bus fire, they guy was a bit of a tosser but he said be cautious removing silicone hosing thats been subjected to extreme heat as there is a type of acid thats created that needs a special fluid to neutralise it, melts yer fingers etc. Scared the shit out of me and my gaffer still aint bothered his hole getting us the proper gloves...nothin new there. Cheers John
  7. Got 3 points about 6 years ago, my renewal jumped £80 for the 3 points, SP30, was doing 42 in a 30 in works van, was told by friends etc it shouldnt affect my ins but it did. Prob depends on ins company. Just my experience with 3 points, licence now clear. Cheers John
  8. No worries lol cheers for that. John
  9. Thats cool, I have seen it on the map or something similar. Just hope the Euro picks up a bit as we are there in 1 month so not too far away. Lovely bit of the country, just a bit dodgy driving LHD for the first time, especially coming from Barcelona airport, from the Hire company it was 6 lanes of Free For All Hell but we survived. One small point as regards the cards on Ebay, are they all the same for all Tom Tom's or is there one specific for the Tom Tom 1? Cheers John
  10. LOL guys small world. Her indoors booked the flights from Barcelona last year rather than Gerona and we ended up going 100 km the wrong way as well/.......all part of the holiday lol. This year its booked to the right airport. Where is his appartment, we are going to Argelese Sur Mer near Perpignan (spelling sorry) about an hours drive from Gerona. Cheers John
  11. Cool will have a look on ebay.....only 4 weeks till I fly to Gerona Spain and drive to southern France so better get the skates on. Cheers John
  12. Anyone upgraded their Tom Tom 1 to the European maps. I got the Tom Tom when my mrs bought a new car but its only UK maps. Or is there another way of upgrading it with a memory card or something like that. Cheers John
  13. We have grey skies, rain was horizontal a wee while ago but thats the joy of the Scottish climate.......car looks good btw. Cheers John
  14. I have the wings ina huge box, 81cm by 61 cm by 145 cm and weight approx 11kg. Not many people will take it for a reasonable price. Parcel to go wont take it. I dont want to bubble wrap the wings and send them but ffs £100. I think now we are sorted with a courier so thats all for your input. Cheers John
  15. I will give them both a try, thanks guys (All in 4 minutes lol) Cheers John
  16. I have a set of Viper wings to post, anyone got any contact details for pick up and deliver to North of England.....have had 2 quotes so far £86 and £100. Cheers John
  17. I used to bleed clutches/brakes on commercials witha 12 volt windscreen washer pump. Bleed it from the slave cylinder back up to the reservoir. In some cases u get a partial pedal, then after u pump the pedal 8 or 9 times, open the lower bleed nipple until the fluid comes (a bit of gravity help). Never been beaten with that way yet. Cheers John
  18. Thats awsome bud. Cheers John
  19. Thanks Chris i stupidly sold the vacuum parts and have found a buyer for the manual conversion so its just because the parts are missing. Cheers John
  20. Anyone got a pic of the pipework/valves/etc for the clutch booster maybee from the manual as i'd like to see what parts are missing from my manual conversion. Cheers John
  21. I have a tripple pod with a boost, volt and coolant temp gauges. The gauges are AC Autotechnic, they look gr8 at night but could do with the trims around them. Had a oil pressure gauge/sandwich plate but couldnt be bothered with the grief so I bought the Voltmeter. I think http://www.flat4online.co.uk still sell the gauges. Easy to fit as the power/earth I got from clock and the light feed to dim them at night is easy enough to find. Cheers John
  22. No worries. The one in the link was down at £175 as I think there was a price war on ebay as there were a few others selling them. Have seen a few pics of like a one-piece cooler but then again Its not really the thing i'd take notice of unless I was looking for the same as you. Sorry I cant help u any more. Hope u get what you are looking for. Cheers John
  23. As to your point about the coolers looking like 2 welded together, here is a link to another FMC I found.....looks the same if not similar to the link u posted. http://www.flat4online.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?pName=front-mount-intercooler-300zx-twin-turbo&cName=nissan-fairlady-300zx Cheers John
  24. Red to Red....Black to Black.........and blue to fook lol.....looks like some of the sparks that work in the same company as me have been working to their usual high standards lol, we have more electrical fires on the buses that some people have dinners.......very very scarey. Cheers John
