See especially Sussex Stu, im quite a helpful lad sometimes, nice to see your zed parked next to mine in the local garage, not a bad garage, car wise at the mo. in there, 2 x TT manual zeds, both 94's. a V6 clio, and a supercharged 4.6hse ranger rover, and a 2.5 vectra, was only on monday it would have also been a tvr cerberra and a pimped and super low fiat 500. Hopefully mine is due out to tear up the roads of sussex on saturday will all new sills and other bits.

Had a good day, all seems good with the engine, a few things sorted, Nick your zed is superb, its clearly had lots spent on it, and a few very rare goodies. Even has a fully working electric Ariel now and some trim that was missing thanks to me. Good to meet you mate, couldnt believe how close are zeds are together, yours on the driveway, mine in the workshop in the next road. Will try and gets the other bits of my old zed and call you. Stu

can give you a definitive answer in the morning, as our gas guy is a Vaillant engineer, we install pro 24 and pro 28 in our property's. usually something to do with blocked pressure pipe to the visual pressure gauage, or one of the many engineer settings.. drop me your mobile via pm and will call you tomorrow. stu

im in worthing mate, mine gives smoke when i boot it, but has no issues, it could be that the engine is clearing itself out, if you want to drive over to the other side of worthing at weekend i will have a look it for you. stu

FOR SALE VERY RARE NISSAN 300 ZX 3.0L TWIN TURBO 5 MANUAL GEARBOX ( ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET MANUAL GEARBOX) Are true manuals from the factory really that rare?? I know mine is a true factory manual, but if so many autos were converted to manuals, it shows that there was quite a few manuals produced.

i didnt even know there should be clips, as both my zeds have factory fitted blue tack, came as a rare optional extra. another job to sort now

found this on a quick search on here done by DTA former trader, The 300ZX NA came with two different size discs/caliper combinations depending on the model year: 1989-1990: 280mm x 26mm discs and calipers to suit 1991-1996: 280mm x 30mm discs and calipers to suit (ie, identical to TT discs and calipers) If you have an early spec NA, ie 89/90 it may be worth getting hold of a pair of TT calipers so that in future getting 260mm x 30mm disks are easier. But worth checking what you have now. Stu

On the south coast we have palm trees, paddling in the sea, cold beers and bbq's, its been snowing a bit all day but since 5 pm the white stuff has kicked in, roads are shut, trains have stopped, buses have given up, when i got home at 5, the roads were clear, but now its 3" deep and pack ice, taken me 1/2 hour to do a 5 minute journey. Curry cant be delivered, and its still snowing, plus the wind is gusting, and later its due to hit -5, but on the good good side i have plenty of ciggies and stella to get me through. Fook off winter, we have had enough now. Bring on the sun, so i go swimming in the sea, drive with the t tops off and drink beer on the beach whilst fishing, and getting a good tan.

went to see my lady in the garage, she has all new sills on one side, and the other side is made but to be welded this week, then MOT hopefully end of week, will be nice to have her back, a UK TT manual with NO rust...... Pics to follow when she is done.

funny that they also sell decat pipes, intercoolers and exhaust's plus other bits for the zeds and other high end jap cars. But i must add this seller is NOT a trader on here.

after a bit of advice of where do i stand. I had bid on a decent set of new grooved / drilled front disks for a 300zx tt, the seller is a very active ebayer with a score over 19k. Starting bid was 99p, i bid £2, next day another guy bids £4, as i want the disks i go to £30. Was watching it upto 20 mins before end of auction, no other bidders or watchers, all of a sudden i get a message saying the seller has removed the item for no longer available, ???? then all of a sudden the exact same item is re listed as a new listing. again with a starting price of 99p no reserve. are they allowed to do this, at no point does it state in their add its listed eleswhere. sounds like they didnt get the price they wanted so pulled the sale and re started. any ideas

know how you feel, mine is having lots of welding done at the mo, the weather last 2 weekends on the south coast has been great nice and sunny, zed due home next weekend and hopefully its still sunny, need to fill it up, and drive it for the first time in 2 years.

vods the previous owner of my zed applied to the dvla for a keeper history form VQ7, it came back a few weeks later, giving full details of who bought it and when and what mileage it was sold at. Yup ive got it now, think it cost him about £50. but its good to know where its been.
