Andy just a word of warning, depending on the location of the main supply, trench should be minimum 780mm deep and 400mm wide x how far you need. add to that you need to be aware of other services, we use a radar detector, picks up electric, water cable, old pipes and any metal. can be a nightmare job, but also a piece of pee. get a price from transco as they will use a worm bore, if they mess it up, they fix it. plus only they can install a new meter. we had a big install recently, with a total of 12 new meters, but running of 2 x new mains, even after all the prep, the guys hit the water once, then the cable tv twice. plus if digging by hand its dam hard work. if you can use a mini digger and its a straight run to the house, then go for it

Only way to find out the extent, is remove the rear outer sills, trust me it will show way more. then remove front seats and look under the carpet to the floor. mine was like redwine's but not as bad, just saving more to have the it welded with all new sills, arch's etc. but at least i know its all been removed.

well almost of sussex is on flood watch, local roads are like lakes, the A27, A259 are shut, water everywhere, even tried to go up a road, only to find it shut, all going down hill, then was amazed to see a guy kayaking down it white water style, took me 45 minutes to go less than a mile, cars broken down everywhere, more fire engines than ive ever seen, have other pumps from 40 miles away at the moment. And we have still got a bloody hosepipe ban and a drought. England in the summer time, rain why dont you just do one and fook off Plus one of my targas has decided to leak a bit. seeing as the UK zeds were stopped in late 94, im trying to see has the latest UK zed, ive compared mine to Sonic's chassis number and there is about 150 difference. what i want to see is the chassis number, not the whole thing but the last 5 digits Mine is registered 5/8/94 geniuine Uk manual zed, vin starting in Jn ending in 0010948 anyone else newer on a UK spec zed, stu

seems you have enough to push it forward some more, should be looking at late 300 bhp, say around 375, get the engine working spot on with the boost, and then look at upgrading the suspension, and braking. go adjustable and bigger disks. then you can sort the ride height out and stop the dam thing.

after reading crash courses how do you do it thread just now, after loosing lots of skin and blood on a zed engine, i have lost tools, that just seem to fall down the sides of the engine never to be seen again. to my memory so far ive lost , 2 x 14mm sockets, a 10mm socket, a small stubby screwdriver, a couple of stanley blades, a det sensor connector and the small plastic black screw from the top of the radiator. they have fallen and been lost down the sides never to be seen again, i can see one of the 14mm sockets, stuck above the turbos but below the manifold. But i have also found a 10mm snap on spanner and a spark plug both under the lower plenium, plus a pair of long nose pliers under the drivers seat main carpet. anyone else lost stuff in the zed?

hang on in there mate, once you have done it a few times, it so much easier. just wait till you have to remove the gearbox or engine. that is a whole different animal. time to loose lots of knuckle skin.

clean the lenses , they may look clean, but until you take them apart then you will see a layer of fine dust, once done makes a huge difference, then go for HID, and light up the night.

Only to find out that its all a big FAKE. gotta get some of these for the folks at work.
