  1. Yeah there is a thread called low beam help or something. he has pictures on there with these fitted. Ivan
  2. If you look on the zed centre's website they sell C1 bumpers I beleive. Have a look on there and see what they sell. If it's not on there then call Luke and I'm sure he'll help you out. Ivan
  3. Yeah is a nightmare by all accounts. I've been quoted £600!!! :( I have heard a rumour that it would be better to re-route them through the boot area also thus insulating them from all the c**p on the roads. JeffTT Was thinking about re-routing them but not sure what the outcome was. Has anyone else had this job done?? Ivan
  4. Yeah sounds like a boost leak to me. Check the hose clips on each end of the boost piupes (2 x big rubber pipes either side of the radiator). Could well be leaking out of these. Ivan
  5. Steve, can you see this from under the car? Mine is leaking a little clutch fluid. Looking at your picture I wonder if mine's doing the same thing? Ivan
  6. Yeah cheers. I'll check it tomorrow.
  7. Strange problem after going sideways and up a kerb at the weekend. Had the car on a ramp and 4 wheel aligned and everything ok. Checked everything - ok. When she's cold it doesn't seem to want to go into gear at all. When it's in gear it seems to be creeping foward like the clutch isn't clearing properly. Could the impact have caused this? Doesn't seem to be any damage underneath. After she's warm seems to almost fall into gear. Is this air in the clutch fluid system? Or low fluid? Does anyone have a pic of where the clutch fluid reservoir is located? Cheers Ivan
  8. Do you think it could possibly be a missfire? Ivan
  9. Just had a thought guys. The car has nearly always miss-fired on tick-over but normally as soon as you put your foot on the gas it perks up immediatly. Wondered if this has anything to do with it. It had a second hand PTU fitted in September 2002. Hope it isn't this :( Ivan
  10. Thanks guy's. I'll have a look at all the connections again and clean out the throttle bodies and see what happens. Ivan
  11. I have an intermittant missfire. I was driving down an a-road the other day and it started missfiring really bad so I pulled over and had a look. All relevant plugs connected. Drove through a 30mph village and out the other side. Still doing it after a good caning. Drove through a 40mph village and it cleared. After a couple of weeks it came back yesterday. Driving along a-roads and after about 5 miles it was missfiring for about 15 miles then mysteriously dissappeared. Have cleaned out injector and plug cap connectors about 2 weeks ago. Not cleaned tps connector but checked CAS and PTU connectors which seem fine. Temp switch connector seems dodgy and not cleaned out throttle bodies yet. Any ideas people. Ivan
  12. Does that zed in the pictures have a flip dark purple to green paint?
  13. Yeah mine does it. Mostly on the spoiler. I find that Autoglym does the trick if you use some elbow grease
  14. Or use 40300 and the number on the outside of the wheel rims.
  15. Could it be anything to do with the immobiliser?
  16. Yeah JeffTT bypassed my matrix when it went. You can do it without being in the cabin. Disconnected at the begining of December and repaired at the end of Febuary! Just the 2 months when you need a heater!!!!!!!!!
  17. If ypu shine a torch down there you should see what the score is. Just push the cliups towards the front of the car and squeeze them together and then it should come out. It may not come out first time so just persevere. Ivan
  18. Dont worry I get them on my lovely black paint. They show up wjite though!!!! The other way to get round it is to get in touch with a company called Armoufend. They have done a Morgan Aero 8 for us and it looked spot on. You can hadrly see it. If you didn't know it was there you wouldn't notice it. Ivan
  19. Where did you get the harness for for £26.00? Nissan uk or Courtesy.
  20. Well I didn't and it seems fine still.
  21. Maybe..........just maybe :( :(
  22. I work for TVR and they aren't bringing it out ever! The factory test drivers said it was too undriveable! And that was the same person who said the new 550bhp Typhon (which only weighs 1000kg!) Wasn't fast enough!!!!!!!!!       Ivan
  23. Can you buy the temp sensor plug? Ivan
  24. My passenger side one sort of chuffs a bit. Is this the same noise? Mongoose exhaust, AIV's removed and no balance bar. Ivan
