Well no sooner had I thought I'd cured my missfire, well I hadn't. The two cylinder that now missfire are the centre ones on both sides. One may be a faylty spark plug but I have swapped coils and tested injectors are firing and all seems OK. :confused: Please help guy's as the car isn't really driveable in this state. Does this sound like a wiring problem or PTU related? :confused: Ivan

I've found my problem!!!!! It was the coil pack on the drivers side rear. Swapped a couple of coils around and I pulled the plug off the coil I thought was faulty and it didn't make a difference to the revs. Also I found that one of the other side cylinders wasn't firing so I whipped out the coil pack (which was the centre one) and swapped it with the fron one and noticed that there was a lot of corrision in the bottom of the middle (faulty) spark plug bore. And this was the problem (I think) on that side. Now what would be causing this corrosion? (Dont say water :D ) Do you think that the coil pack was leaking? BTW injectors are firing ok.

Mike - Yeah will try this - although in my garage the exhaust is v.loud! :dance: Only had a quick look this morning for 2 mins to discover the coil pack connector thing. Was going to do further investigation to night but laid on the sofa to watch tv whilst my dad was on the computer and woke up at 9:30 :xxx: Far too tired to do it now. I'll try these tomorrow night.

I would have thought they would not come seperate to the A-pillar itself? :confused: Check the Courtesy website and see if they have a breakdown picture of the area. Ivan
