Hi guy's and gal's I have a loud moaning noise from the back of my UK 300ZXTT. Now it's always there in a straight line and going round bends but seems to get worse when turning right so loading up the left hand side. I know the rear subframe bushes are weeping fluid but I was wondering if this could cause the noise? I sure hope it's not the diff? Also has anyone ever replaced/had replaced these bushes? How much of a job/what was the cost? :eek: Ivan

'Boost leak detector'?! What's one of them then? I do have a boost leak problem as well. I tighten up the hose clips in the 4 big air intake pipes and that cures is temporarily but not for long these cold days. I was looking at this thread at the acutator piping and I haven't looked at them before. I'll try it and see what happens. Cheers Ivan

Well Roy I work at a TVR garage so I have no skin to remove! LOL Worked in the engine compartment before. Worst job was getting to the N/S ABS sensor plug! Nightmare! Had to get my dad to help me shove my hand down near the manifold. Ivan

Now not had the goosehonk before I think. Does it sound like someone blowing across the top of a glass bottle? I noticed it a couple of weeks ago with the roof off and I thought it was air being blown over the roof latch holes but then the other day I heard it with the roof on! Any ideas guy's? Cheers, Jock. Thats a really helpful link. I have removed the AIV boxes before (gurgling) and cleaned them out so I know how oto remove them but not what to do with the pipes. I'll try this when I get a moment. Ivan

Hi, Jeff mate. I have no cats. What I've had done to keep the costs low I've had the cats hacked off and a pipe welded in their place so there is only the AIV pipes going into the exhaust front pipe just ahead of the cat pipe. Do I still need the AIV filters in the wings? Ivan :confused:

Help!!!!! From the nearside my car sounds like a dreaded diesel! It's not in the engine bay but sounds like it's coming from the rear of the wheelarch. Has anyone got any ideas? Almost sounds like it's coming from the front of the door!? Anyone? Ivan:mad: :eek: :eek:
