  1. The way I do it is with either WD40 or proper contact cleaner and use a very small flat head screw driver and scrape the corrosion off. Ivan
  2. Try the FAQ section mate. Think someone put a how to in there years ago. Ivan
  3. I also believe that the grey one has different arches on it. Very similar to the SE ones that were fitted to Jaz's car before it was "crushed". This blue zed has very nice NSX style arches too ;) Ivan
  4. Hello Speedfreak. What bulbs did you upgrade to. I am going to do this but am worried about anyone being able to see my lights through the tints. Ivan
  5. Sounds like MAF to me mate. Does it seem limited to about 3500rpm and no power above that? Ivan
  6. Yep KOYO radiator, lightened puleys, water pump, cam belt and replace all the little hoses especially the ones round the back of the engine will all be worthwile mods/peventative maintenance. Ivan
  7. When I worked for Nissan we used 10w40 magnatec semi synthetic. Ivan
  8. My UK car was restricted to 159 when read on a conzult. Ivan
  9. Nice one Tim. They do make a massive difference don't they? Ivan
  10. Not got mine mate. Probably because I didn't order one lol. I would like one though. And the video from JAE where you followed me out onto the A1. Cheers Ivan
  11. Theres 2 reason Slick Pete likes slick tops. 1. He's fitted with one himself 2. He cant have the "wind in the hair feeling" anymore     Ivan ;)
  12. The reason I bought a Zed in the first place was it was the only Japanese car that had all the following:- T-Tops for "wind in the hair" feeling whilst not totally affecting rigidity Turbo's for ease of tuning Sold in UK due to previous problems with insurance and parts availability Nissan due to knowing the product Looks Also I like the LWB styling. I feel that the SWB is a little truncated and the LWB is much more elagent. Due to it's extra length the LWB is also easier to drift. Ivan
  13. Now that is proper funny     Ivan
  14. Looks shite from the rear. Front isn't too bad but the vents in the sides of the front bumper need smoothing in more. The badges are off a merc (I think Paul C?). He's got one thing right though. It is a BITURBO as it states on the boot lid. Ivan

  16. Have a good one mate :duffer: Ivan
  17. LOL mate cheers. Was that wheels or fly? Ivan
  18. TBH mate the engine it has at the mo' was an unknown quantity. It's been rattly ever since Bruntingthorpe. I would have liked it to last until after xmas as I'd planned some major work next year anyway (also getting a daily driver next year). It had been rattling very loudly for about 8 miles or so and I knew it was gonna blow but just wanted to get to my detination. It died about 3 miles out. I was off boost and a fraction throttle when it happened. Ivan
  19. I was manouvering a brand new 911 around the car park at work. Forgetting the auto's pedal box was offset I put into reverse and applied the brakes but I kept going quicker backwards to a customers TVR tuscan. I could feel the ABS cutting in but still smacked the Tuscan. £2000 to the Tuscan (new front end) and Not even a scratch on the 911. Boss weren't happy. Ivan
  20. Best I got was 14.267 on stock boost just decat, exhaust and induction. Santa pod's surface is treated in a sticky substance that suits the drag slicks as it's the only FIA approved drag strip in the UK. Also the 300 is a notouriously (sp?) difficult car to launch without bogging down or spinning away all the power. Ivan
  21. Looking good Dave. BTW how did you get on with the rolling road at Japfest. Forgot to ask you on my way out. Ivan
  22. 0.00 due to blown engine and not even making the bloody show!! :smash: Ivan
