  1. Can anyone tell me the zx tt oil capacity with filter change?
  2. Wouldn't it do it all the time if that were the case? I've just been out for a drive and it didn't do it at all! Maybe it is just when it's been raining, so it may be ok. If the matrix was starting to go, how fast would the coolant level go down, I've checked the carpets more than once, no wet there at all.
  3. Do the windows steam up at this time of year on all zeds (ooh ahh madam)!!! No seriously tho, is it coz of the weather, or is there a problem with my car? Quite often the windows mist over and I have to put air con on, that clears it quickly. Then when I turn air con off they steam up again pretty quick, is this normal, or do you think it could be that something (coolant) is leaking somewhere? This doesn't seem to always happen, but quite often. Also, I seem to think that I can smell coolant or something, but no one else seems to be able to, so don't know if it's just my imagination!!
  4. Try the Toyo Proxes T1-R, I love em, they are a truly "great" tyre! I have them all round on my tt and they are brill (wet or dry), wouldn't use anything else at the mo. They also last REALLY well.
  5. Does anyone know where I can get hold of an Apexi EL oil pressure sender unit? I have the control unit and gauge but no sender!?! Or do you know if the OEM sender can be used for the Apexi unit? ANY help would be very much appreciated.

  7. My boot lid won't unlock, so have to have someone outside to lift it up. Would this be because the catch needs adjusting, or because the struts are knackered!?! Are the struts supposed to push it up a little when you lift the lever?
  8. Well, I suppose I may have got a little carried away!! Whatever, I am not slagging jeff off, he has been VERY helpful over the phone on many occasions, and sorted loads of things out with his invaluable advice.
  9. I took my car to Zedworld in Tamworth to have a 60k service. I collected the car after having to walk around Tamworth all day in the cold, only to find that when I started her the next day, the new auxiliary belts were slipping. I have now got to travel all the way back to Tamworth just to have them tightened up, costing me another £50 in petrol and other expenses on top (drink etc)! I am NOT happy at all, this really shouldn't happen. I spoke to a guy there, and he spoke to jeff, who first said that he wouldn't re-imburse my expenses, then when I said I wasn't happy with that, came on the phone and said they MIGHT consider it IF it was there fault!! How can replacement belts slipping STRAIGHT AWAY not be their fault!?! Also, I have found that I have needed to top up my coolant every day a little since the service, where as I NEVER had to before it went in there. I am still monitoring the coolant situation, I bled the system myself, and not sure if it is still doing it or not yet. The next couple of days will tell. They also replaced my air con pod with a S/H one, because of the usual screw shaft problem (hanging offat top/hazard lights not staying on etc), and the thing is still quite loose and looks as if it may be on the way out again (although the hazards are working at the mo). I'm really not being funny, but that is NOT what I expect from a highly regarded independant specialist. I will see what happens when I eventually get back up there, they said they couldn't look at it for a couple of weeks!!! And now I can't afford to go back up there at the moment anyway, cos we have just had a lot to spend out on various things. :mac1:
  10. I have now read on the internet somewhere, that you don't need a sender for an Apexi EL2 gauge, it utilises the OEM one! Can this be right, and if so, would it be accurate, or is it just the actual Nissan gauge itself that is no good and not the sender!?!

  13. How do you remove the switch pod on left side of steering wheel (air con control etc)? It is a bit loose at the top, want to see why and see if I can tighten it up.
  14. Has anyone tried CTS Freezer water wetter, said to be like the Redline product. If so, is it any good, and is it as good as Redline (have used Redline, and that is VERY good)?

  17. I forgot, I also have an Apexi SAFC unit, doesn't this allow control of the fuel/air mixture etc?
  18. I guess my boost is 0.75 bar on my white Greddy boost gauge, it is half a mark after the 0.7 mark on gauge. So it is above stock boost already, but not that much! I would like to up it to the SAFE max with stock tubs, at least I think she has stock tubs!
  19. I was told when bought car that it had uprated ECU, but never checked that, and don't know which ECU it has! I always run V-Power anyway, and not sure which plugs she has now, but I have a new set of NGK (Nissan) PFR6-B 11-B ready to fit as not sure when plugs last changed. I have just had the cambelt changed (on Thursday) at Zedworld, she has HKS Super Drager single outlet exhaust, Greddy boost gauge, oil temp gauge and water temp gauges. Blitz BOVs, uprated IT's, engine & gearbox oil cooler etc.

  23. I have Apexi AVCR & SAFC controllers fitted, my boost is currently running at 0.7 and a half bar. I want to raise this to 1 bar, but don't know how to do it!?! The controllers were fitted when I bought the car. Can anyone help, I have looked at the Apexi instructions online, but can't make head nor tail of them!!! May be just me (thick), but just looking at them on there, seems VERY complicated for a novice!!!!
  24. At the moment I'm using Mobil 1 0/40 fully synthetic, no probs at all, excellent oil
  25. Zedworld do a matrix swap (matrix supplied & fitted) for £387 auto, £437 manual, look on their site http://www.zedworld.co.uk/wizzd.html. They also sell the matrix for £180, all these prices are plus VAT.
