  1. Trouble with a S13 is the steering is not as sweet as a Z, it doesnt look as good and its noisier inside, but the bigest thing against them is the SXOC....Easy and cheap to make go though fast though....
  2. Water Injection then? I have a kit, will be fitting it soon. I am only going to run about 14 and a bit so I know it doesnt NEED it but it will keep it cooler and stop detting. As has been said ten year old car needs looking after.
  3. One thing to remember with "aftermarket" thermostats is they sometimes just dont work quite as well as they should. Nissan original is safer
  4. I hate buying brake pads and then not being happy with them, so I will look around a bit. I will however contact you when I have made up my mind. Do you have personal exp with these? Thanks for your help.
  5. Sorry. I thought they only sold their own pads. Mine complain when I slow semi hard from high speed, 120 plus. I "think" they build up a layer of gas which causes the problem when they get hot. Slower speeds they are OK. Discs are NOT warped. So I am looking at what pads to buy. Current set up is standard.
  6. Sorry. here is the address. durhh http://www.carbotecheng.com/main.htm
  7. As above, interesting reading, anyone used these?
  8. Not picking a fight but Kuhmo is probably not so minor, but I know what you mean. I was not saying the were as good, just might be. Or good enough anyway. Who here really needs the "best" tyres, I dont, most of the time anyway. I remember when Nissan, read Datsun, made rubbish little cars.
  9. . The folks of the 200sx club thought I was talking b0llocks when I mentioned this , shows how wrong they were. Not surprised at the SXOC, 95% are a bunch of to**ers who can only support what their mates have already said. Right or wrong. And I think you need to remove the tint becasue otherwise the pig may start looking out for you, and then tell his mates etc. Did I really say that? Shame on me.
  10. VW fit them as standard to some of their cars, so they cant be too bad on "normal" cars. Generally you pay extra just for a "name" and not always for any return.
  11. True, My head is down just in case.....lol
  12. If you look at a previous thread, it seems they WILL NOT go. Do a search...
  13. Other than Mitsubishi I mean, sorry. I had an FTO, a few onth after I sold it it ran one big end, no way to repair it as no oversize shells available. Needed new engine.
  14. For Mitsubishi read very expensive to service and when things go wrong, watch out. go German or Jap.
  15. 1 bar = 14.5037738 pound-force/square inch (PSI)
  16. I have been told one bar is OK, by someone who rebuilds them
  17. Yes, my phone has been found. His name is George, number is 0208 560 3927. Please say I sent you, and if he does not remember remind him of the T3 fitted to a 200SX. The price quoted is trade but if he gets enough from this forum I am sure he will not mind.
  18. There is a tool, cant remember the name sorry, but its a right angle with a straight edge running right through the center of the angle, this finds the middle if you use it twice. Does this make any sense???
  19. Hi All, Merry Christmas, my son had his T3 turbo rebuilt last week by Turbo Deveopments in London. Fully rebuilt, balanced etc, painted and new nuts and bolts etc 175.00 plus VAT. Cant find the nmber at the mo but if anyone needs it ask, its on my phone and my phone is hiding. he will also convert a T25 to T28 spec, and almost anything else judging from speaking to him. A good friend has used him for 15 years with no probs.
  20. Only a proper fog light will do for the SVA, prob not a problem for you.
  21. No disrespect to any Irish, Welsh or Scots here, but I am not British, I am ENGLISH. I am sure a lot of the other Scots Welsh etc feel the same way. British is a mish-mash of cobbled together people from who knows where and a lot of them dont really like each other that much either. 50 years ago being British was OK, but not now. A friendly person is OK regarless of colour etc, but how do we let them come over here and then demand changes and special treatment? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I voted BMP last time too.
  22. Couldnt agree more, send them ALL home if they dont like it here. But by the time the MP's have finished it will be their country and its us who will be the minority
  23. Yes, he has no idea where mines parked right now.
  24. Watch them as some, read most, are a bunch of tossers with about as much sense as a box of rocks.
  25. Cant have been me I was working at the time. And anyway I didnt know his name.
