  1. Mine hit 376 fwhp at 1.1bar a few weeks back at motorscope Northallerton, so Im also inclined to say that yeah you'd likely do 350 fwhp at 1bar. At 1.3 bar it made 401 fwhp. Just to give you an idea of what to expect.
  2. The interior changed on the series 2 also, from the woven style material to velour.
  3. Job done, used a blow torch to heat them up then hammered them out, then replaced them before it could cool down, took about 45 minutes. Had to remove the wheels only to do the job. Handling like its supposed to now, yaayy!
  4. Is it a long wheel base or a shortie, both have different handling charactaristics, the shortie can take more agressive handling naturally, I drive my shortie hard, i always power progressively and consistantly through oversteer and blip on gear downs, the long wheelbase would be a little more snappy however it all depends on how the car is set up in which case get yourself some track time booked up and learn how to drive your zed on the edge, then tune from there to suit your driving style. The 300zx is a drivers car, drive the car, dont let the car drive you.
  5. Right, so it's looking like a garage jobbie.
  6. I mean SUNDAY lol
  7. Got work to do on the zed this Saturday, if I get it done in time I'll be there on Saunday. Any owers close or in the north east, get yourselves along, well worth getting out of bed for, plus woul be nice to have a few more zeds show up.
  8. Right I'm going to replace my outer hicas balljoints at the weekend, Are these easy enough to fit for the average tinkerer, or is this a garage job? Any help or advice most welcomed!
  9. My hicas ball joints have just turned up this week from mjp, I'm thinking while i'm rolling around under the car I might fit a hicas eliminator bar too, 've done one on the skyline, looks pretty much the same.
  10. I'll be nipping into work for an hour at 2pm, i work at nissan anyway, so don't leave too early, should be back along before 3.
  11. Yeah are you getting a noise coming from the rear or is it wiggling about side to side, if its doing the latter then it could well be the hicas ball joints, if it is your wheel bearing and your getting lateral play then I'd strongly suggest not driving it until its repaired or you'll end up in a ditch, or worse.
  12. pmsl @ this "I have seen better parts fall out of christmas crackers. Seller very unhelpful."
  13. The stock Z32 are 280mm discs, the R32/33 GTS are also 280mm, the stock GT-R32 also R33GTS-t are 296mm, R33GT-R V-SPEC are 324mm as are all R34 GT-R and the later spec R34 GT-t.

  16. I was there with Japtuner, would have been a good night had it have been closer to the summer, but it was bloody freezing, so I left early and grabbed 12 bottles of San Miguel on the way home lol
  17. right, just to resurect this thread.... I'm still a bit baffled as to where this "vaccum leak type squeel" is coming from, has anyone ever heard of this problem, is it beause as i apply harder pressure o the pedal is the servo moving forwards causing a gap somewhere and will fitting a master cylinder stopper sort this out?
  18. Hi, yes I live next to the Barnes fellar, if it was this zed below then it was me, This pic taken at a recent Jap North East meet This was on the Dastek rolling road at Motorscope And due to wheelspin on the rollers had these three fellars in the boot to weigh the back end down, they did the job lol RainbowZTT had you have been driving your zed I'd have noticed you! StellaZ, I swear I'll get to one of these NE meets soon lol, btw that mafs running AOK! I'll check the dates for the next NE meets and do my best.
  19. I have just ordered a set from the Z centre.
