Turbo High-Tech Performance mag took a stock 350z to 6 different Dyno's in one day,they were curious as to how much various dynos differd,results were; DYNO HP TQ DYNAPACK 249.4 242.8 DTS 257.6 556.5(rollers not acountin for gear reduction DYNOJET(WIN)235.8 227.8 DYNOJET(DOS)243.7 237.2 CLAYTON 265.7 240.6 SUPERFLOW 228.9 226.6 They concluded that "no one dyno is better than the other,you should when upgrading/modding use the same dyno,what is important is the Gains made per addition,it should not take a back seat to peak output" So,on this basis,all those that were at the previous RR will get a different reading,and all those that have not used the Dynopack will allso get different readings.Will be an interesting outcome:) Tony

Sorry Topless it can,mine did,same as above,could not find the leak,everything tight,was starting to get well pissed off,was getting worse,then just by chance i checked with hand while car running under the FPR and there it was,by now pissing out all down between plenum:eek: took it off,and where the folded metal join was it had been leaking,i applied some liguid metal and built it up a bit to get me by,got another of AndyZ and all ok,this was on Petes Z,The join on the FPR is a press join not a weld,so in time with heat etc it had seperated slightly.One for the scrapbook:) Tony

The problem with that Mac is that old sayin"Nothing ever goes to plan"as in life,anything can happen,but was talking today to the guy who set mine up etc,a secret mod:D ,but i think the RR is to close to sort it,and my SAFC2 is still unwired,and i have to re set the EVC5 as it did not like being unplugged for a couple of weeks and lost its self a bit,so only running 12psi,but i think i may get a good showing still,ahhhh if only xmas had not got in the way:D I even bought a new Camcorder specialy for the event,so between me and others will be plenty of film:) Shame yours will not be there,still,allways another RR on the horizon,and Santa Pod maybe;) Tony

Who put the same filter back on,:eek: you or a garage:confused: if when you have changed the filter and followed all of above and its back to normal,cut the old filter open to see whats in there,hopefully just a thick sludge due to the oil cooking,best check.Tony

I would get them to photograph the cambelt work as its done,then you can see its done,just incase he may be telling you any old crap so as you buy it,maybe he could give you a list of all these other 300zx owners that he sold too,you could check on a few to see if things went ok after them buying(would not think for one minute he will but i could be wrong)If he agrees to none of it then walk!!Tony

Bloody gorgeous,hope no one wants it(as yet anyway):D i remember picking it up from Cheddar Gorge when i bought it,like it was yesterday,very special Z for me,great memories,10hour round trip,thunderstorms like you would not believe,could write a book:D Am impressed at the way Pete has kept it and the improvements he has made,wish i could afford Two Zs,would love to have it again,theres something about a Z,like a drug of sorts,why!,never has a car ever done me head in like these!! Local shop owner friend,into fast motors etc,allways saying how fast his toys have been,Supras,GTO,ZX,etc etc,he's had em all,so,few months back after going over my Z and giving it plenty of bullshit,decides to spend £30,000 on a M5,must say looks ok,i had a good look round etc,he is giving it some in the bullshit stakes etc,he is gonna kill me off,so yesterday its his chance,i go in shop having just took mine for a blast around Daventry,not been in it for a week,his M5 in drive of shop,he was not about in shop,so as i leave,start mine,what do i see,he runs outa shop,looks at me and grins,gets in M5,so its on:D he follows me all nice and steady till we get on the mad mile from Total Garage to McDonalds,as i get off roundabout to start on the straight(road is very damp,so i have to wait till i straitend up,got to put power down steady)he is right with me,i finaly open her right up,surprised to see him level for a few seconds,then i am pulling away:D then me infront by at least 5 car lengths,oh shit roundabout looming very very quickly,back off and feather the brakes to take speed off,phew made it;) I go round to blast back up straight,when i finaly near where we started from he is a long way back,so £30,000 sure dont get ya a Z beater,:rofl: :dance: Lets see what he has to say next time i go in shop,maybe he has already put the M5 up forsale:rofl: Tony

Looks great,wonder if it goes as good as it looks,i am sure i have seen this somewhere on the net in more detail,cant seem to find it at the mo,not sure but think it was at a show in Holland or someplace in europe,one thing i would of liked is a more aggresive front,looks too soft for me,love the side intakes and doors:cool:
