  7. What do you guys think the result would of been over the 1/4 mile,as there are some ruffled feathers here, http://www.zclub.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=1275&goto=newpost :D ,Tony "By all accounts the 350Z is quicker through the standing quarter than the 300ZX so dont count your chickens mate !! Its also quicker to 100mph - so I would suggest that as the distance and speed increased the Z would beat a stock 300ZX."
  8. I want i want i want:dance: save us one Smithy;)
  9. Count me and Donna in if possible:D
  10. Kirbz,he says that he gets them from the USA,does a search then gets from whoever is selling ARP studs the cheapest,he mentioned http://www.summitsportcompact.com that he uses for parts etc;)
  11. Ok,following up on Petes thread concerning the use of Earth Grounding wires i found the results at last of Turbo & High-Tech Performance mags test on these,in all 7 cars used, the last being a 350Z,all showed marked increase in performance/driveability etc etc, makes for good reading if your thinking of fitting this system:cool: :) Tony
  12. I can ask him tommoro, maybe he can get them cheaper,:)
  13. Bloody hell, where did this come from, wish i had known a while back, mmmmmmmmmmm is it worth the wifes wrath at this time of year:D ,sounds great:)
  14. Again another bit of info, according to the mechanic who sorted my Z,best thing if using a metal head gasket is to use ARP head Studs rather than head bolts(in fact he recomends using them anyway on cars running big power)he allso said to run the car for a few miles get it hot then re tighten all again, but as he realises, that would take some time with a Z( so much to take off) Hope this all seems viable, all helps i suppose ;) ,Tony ps,he has just changed from bolts to studs on a masserati, head bolts stretched
  15. Great news mate, well happy for you,and as my avatar says......:)
  16. ,Reminds me of the guy who runs a Nos powerd scooter at Santa Pod:cool:

  22. DemonTweeks,if i remember rightly, allso in there motorsport catalog, will look for page for you and post it this afternoon if you not got one:)
  23. Been reading a fair bit on the HGS(Hyper Ground System)and after many reports/tests/dyno sheets(will try to post a dyno up but all pics to small)orderd this one by HKS http://nextcollection.com/html/Auto_Performance2.cfm?category=HKS%20Earth%20Ground%20Wire%20System&Department=Auto%20Performance and heres another, http://nextcollection.com/html/ape-Auto~Performance-Hyper~Ground~System-none-none-none.cfm it should be here any day(two weeks so far)when fitted will report on results, what got me interested more in these lately was a thread on the gtr.co.uk forum, http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/upload/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15948 makes for very interesting reading:eek: If Skylines have this earthing problem(allbeit occasional!)pound to a penny the Z may have too, especialy as pointed out by AndyP the age factor, the HGS has, as far as i am aware in reading many articles ,allways improved the driveability and idle, throttle response, and engine starting, and even better emissions, not all these things may apply to one vehicle in total, plus they found a bonus, all vehicles have shown a higher bhp, some only 2bhp,others up to 8 bhp, this is dependent on vehicle and driving technique. One things for sure after reading what happend to a few on the GTR forum,i would rather fit this than not,and worry as to wether my ECU would go ape becouse of a bad earth and result in pistons going pop  :( Tony
  24. Spotted earlier, have mailed the guy;)
