  6. Service sprays like Duck oil,AC90,etc,coat all over evrything with lots, then wipe off,hey presto:D
  7. Just seen that nightbreeders is allso a UK spec, wonder if Jap and uk differ, would be interesting to find out:)mind you Mattys is UK,worth checking,i only had the one earth from battery,to the rear bulk head area!
  8. This is true, not all cars ,even same makes will benefit, but worth doing as a back up ,especially on performance cars like Zs and Skylines, theres a couple of GTR lads that wish they had done it,engines gone pop due to bad earths sending ECU nuts while full chat,Bang!!!plus Rod Bell knows what he is on about:)
  9. Yes,a meet,a meet,my kingdom for a meet:rofl: got to get out,the whole familys watching the Sound of Music:eek: drivin me nuts:rolleyes:
  10. Sorry, put up wrong link,i did not use them in the end ,i went here, http://www.ultimatez.com/shop/index.php?shop=1&cat=150&cart=139395 The shipping was $39,
  11. Nice one lads:) Have great results after fitting mine:dance:
  12. Its well easy to fit anyone can do it:) i got mine from here, they allso do other coloured non HKS sets http://nextcollection.com/html/Auto_Performance2.cfm?category=HKS%20Earth%20Ground%20Wire%20System&Department=Auto%20Performance :) Easily cheaper to source parts to make up the kit yourself, but i am a lazy git,but very happy with the HKS quality(nice purple too:D )
  13. Finaly got time to post the pics of the HKS HyperGroundSystem, came as a very exstensive kit,all gold plated, all crimp tools, hex keys, brackets included, the system can be fitted 3 different ways depending on how much room you have at the battery,i decided to use the circle plate set up,it has a offset connection for the battery earth terminal underneath, the circle plate then goes into its own conector thats bolted up same as if you were conecting earth cable to battery, connected wires to suspension top, body, plenum x2,hicas unit, depending on how much cable left i will put one on lower engine block, and on auto box casing. Results, well believe it or not more or less the same as Pete,. 1- Idle now at 800rpm(was1000rpm) 2-Smoother idle 3-Gear change(was not exspecting this!)so so much better, the best result,as i had a problem with it holding 1st and 2nd to long when accelerating under normal driving, very smooth now, more positive, changes gear spot on in relation to engine speed:) 4-Throttle response, bloody brilliant, just have to touch accelerator and she picks up great. 5-Boost response(not expecting this either)comes in earlier(5psi with just a touch, before i was depresing throttle further 6.Lights,went out yesterday to cinema, came back in the dark, but i could actually see better, lights were definatly stronger. So i would say that it has made a very big difference in fitting a extra earth system, well chuffed:dance: Tony Pics below- :D
  14. Looks ok,all standard except wheels, worth viewing at the price but i would go over it with a fine tooth combe if i were you ,get it hot and take it for a good run, check boost levels, really open it up,let it tickover for 10 mins ,check for blue smoke, check exhaust out as its a original system and may be due for renewing, all electrics of course, check steering not pulling etc, check for oil leaks, you will find a few small probs maybe, but if in genral all ok then its up to you,but i would put aside some money if i was you to sort probs that probably will occur first couple months,if you areafter a good cared for TT Z there are a few for sale on the forum, would be better to spend more and get a Z off here,Tony:)
  15. Happy New year to everyone here, will be staying in but having a few people round, plus a few cans of pop:D Catch up with some of you at the RR session,Tony

  17. Happend to me on two occasions, last being a local Asian shop owner just before xmas, was talking bout cars etc in shop ,he had a look at mine and offerd £7500,bloody tempting as i had just been following up a lead on a GTR R32,needless to say after a few days out in the Z again i thought naaaaa,*****cks, keep it:D (nearly fell to temptation though:eek: ) Tony ps,as you say,Nothing else comes close for the money etc,are you going to sell if he wants it!!!!!!!
