Ok,so i paint the plenum with VHT paint,gets fitted when engine put in,then find its starting to come of in very small circles due to heat spots,WTF!!,find out crappy shop sold me stuff only good for 150C,so thought i would paint it black(had some paint good for 1700f,inbetween i got the flu,went back to it eventualy and it went a bit Pete Tong:D I have another plenum so was thinking mirror polished and honed for it,i need to know of a good place to do the work,any ideas:) Anyhow the more i look at the insane painting i have done on it the more i like it,talk about Z owners being individual in what they attemp and do:rofl: :rofl: Tony

To true b19rks,christ the amount of miles i did this year to meets n shows was major,but then i love driving my Z,but come on lads n lass's,lets not let apathy get in the way like what happens on the ZCLUB site,going to a meet then only 2 or 3 turnin up can get a bit frustrating,and dont forget these cars need a good long run now again during the winter,so pull ya fookin fingers out,get the Z outa the garage,a little rain wont hurt it:D Tony

In stock form the 350Z is ok,good value for money for a new sports car etc,but its been made to soft and light in the engine dept,the all alloy block is to weak for big power,worse still is the conrods n pistons,both being made for lightness,with no internal changes a TT 350Z is good for around 350bhp,at 7psi,thats it!supercharging gives about 6psi but there all the time,to get more out of a 350Z you will have to spend a fortune on the engine,totaly gutting it to get not so much more,its built to save weight,sweet motor,but the cost for big power would be unreal,the 350Z is built and designed for the yanks,all soft n round,they are growing on me but will never get one as i would rather spend all that money on a Skyline or even another Z,but if i won the lottery this 350Z is my favourite,think its the best yet, Axis are the dogs choppers with these:D

They should be paid double what they get,they saved my brothers life one night,they had around 2 mins to get him out of car,upside down in a deep ditch,middle of the night,was on fire,he had hit tree too,saw the wreckage afterwards,how they got him out god knows,and he had broken his neck and damaged his spine,fantastic people,:) Tony

All ok touch wood,went out in it first time in two weeks today,still getting over flu bug,needs few minor bits doing,nothing major,MOT due December,needs aircon recharge and handbrake sorting,i'm lucky in that i do not need to use it daily,me old Orion keeps going just about

Just seen this in Super Street mag,apparently easy to fit,just two bits of kit(left n right)and for around 1500 dollars,looks the biz,if you look on gallery there are some skylines and 350Zs plus others,according to the info its just a bolt on,no welding etc:) http://www.decah.net

me on nights at moment too,was sent home from work wednesday mornin at 2.30 am,just seems to get worse,but this afternoon things better as me heads not spinning while looking at monitor,supposed to be in work tonight but no way,see how i am say tuesday,just feel so weak all the time,evil it is:( ps,since had Z back only been in it for total of an hour,what with this flu and other stuff:cry:

Plus an auto with a ALC will increase the top rpm by about 300rpm through the gears:D but thats prob not the answer to your question,try both either one will be fast enough;)
