Seem to be a fair few interested now, would it not be a good idea to book it up with Binbrook,as these dates that they have for the trackdays may soon fill up,the 200plus club mailed me today and they are having one on the 8 april if i remember right, allso on day they will be using the 2 mile straight airfield to do top speed runs(included in cost)plus we can add to the numbers a we get closer the date as we can have up to 64 cars i think, and we can include provisional bookings, just need to know whats happening as i may book with 200plus club if this does not go ahead ;) Tony
  7. This has Cos,but being white it does not show it very well, the mag pics are better ;)
  8. Yep me fine Jim,as for this sound, could be one of two things, but ya never know, first the turbo heat shield, found this on my first Z,same kinda noise, was a bit lose, worth checking underneath for anything like that, second, could be a chipped valve or something likewise from top of engine, had this on my engine that came out, slowly things got worse after 8 months, then realy bad smoke but before no real lack in performance till then, hope this helps ya,Tony
  9. More vids for the insomniacs ;) http://www.discountpartcenter.com/car-movies/car-movie-gallery.htm
  10. Video here http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread/t-27279.html Apparently it threw a rod through sump which in turn blew the tyre More vids here, http://www.srtforums.com/forums/forumdisplay/f-31.html Think the Jun vid in Divx and as normal i have not got round to loadin the Codec

  13. Hi Jim,sorry to hear you having problems, when you say you can hear a faint metal sound from exhaust is this sound allso present from engine bay on start up or/and when hot,is the sound in exhaust on one side only, does it sound like a small metallic uneven ticking,is the exhaust note a funny fluttery type noise as well. Tony
  14. Very, another mod to add to the list, been a good day in all,8 hours working on car, another 8 tommoro, bliss, bliss, sheer bliss :hyper: Tony
  15. While doing oil and filter change today saw a light blue wire hanging down towards rear of car, traced it back to this, well i was gobsmacked, thought at first it was a oil pressure sender, but na,i dont think you can read pressure from sump as such, and it looks wrong type of sender for that,so must be an oil temp sender, the boss has been welded to the sump, looks a tidy job too, must of been on the replacement engine, but i never noticed  good excuse to add the clock now :hyper: Tony sorry about pic quality, web camera
  16. Dont worry so,alot can happen to the forcast predictions in the next, will be ok  :)
  17. Well beat this,i was a year ago quoted £1000 to have a boost controler set up and put it on the rollers, very shocked, and last year met with a few peeps who had huge bills for little work from the same well known performance specialist, they will not be going there again :eek:I'm fookin sick of so called SPECIALISTS ripping people off that just happen to own a Jap performance car,and its getting worse, have known more examples later last year :( Tony And lets not forget the dodgy traders doin the same when selling fookin shit heaps
