Cool Pics matey... As said they can be a bit vicious but really only if they have no escape... they do carry some diseases so if you have dogs etc. try and keep them away for any of its droppings other than try and look after it... they're getting rarer and to see one in the wild especially your garden is a very rare thing indeed!!! If you get the chance of more pics that would be cool too!!!

multi room
OK.. you'll need to run another cable from the LNB to your bedroom (it should have 4 out puts... if it doesn't they go for about £10 on ebay)... you can then get the freesat channels on that box without paying but you'll need to ask sky to send you the card... There is NO way of getting any of the sky pay channels for free... they have one of the most advanced encryption systems in world (NDS Videoguard) and they have just issued new cards. They do this every 5 years or so as they figure that's when people will have hacked it... it's pretty hardcore...

HELP Urgent electrical problem
Glad you sorted it matey, and yes the heating etc. Should now work like a car with no ac. The only thing that will not happen is the clutch on the compressor will not engage. Cheers, Paul

HELP Urgent electrical problem
To kill the ac I removed the ac relay from the box on the passenger wing under the bonnet.

HELP Urgent electrical problem
If you replace the fuse and it blows again the check your wiring carefully, mistakes are easily made on these cars!

HELP Urgent electrical problem
You've popped a fuse. It's the top row third from left if memory serves... Down by the loud peddle is where you'll find the fuse box

pipe off and more problems HELP please
Your brake fluid is possibly a leaking master cylinder... look under the master cylinder on the Servo and see if it's leaking on there, I've had that on 2 of the Zeds I've owned... hth Paul

Zed no more
Glad you're OK mate, that could have ended so much worse for everybody! Glad all involved walked away... take it easy for a few days as I'm sure you'll be a little sore for the next week or so!

Gutted... Not sure what to do now...
Well... As some of you know I've had a balance test fail which we believe is the injector. Picked the car up on Wednesday and now I seem to have a massive Oil leak from somewhere, can't pinpoint it yet but more worryingly I have just checked the coolant and found a grey waxy substance around the Rad cap... no sign of anything on the rad cap or on dipstick and the coolant is clear as (no sign of oil) but I know fear the worst... I've had a compression test done recently and all is fine but if the break is between the oil way and a waterway it won't show there... I'm going to try and get a sniff test done but I'm now really worried... I spent 7K on buying the car and so far another 1K on sorting bits out and now this... I can't afford to pull the engine at the moment so not sure what to do...

Anyone running 2 x fuel pumps?
I don't as Mr. F did the install... But I'll take some photoes of the install and them posted and I'll trace the hoses and draw them up as well... I do try and do stuff myself but I have no Garage so sometimes it's best left to others... Paul

Anyone running 2 x fuel pumps?
Just thought I'd follow up on this thread to let you guys know how I got on adding the VFPR... It's smoothed the idle out a bit but the balance test still failed... I'm gutted... I've got a 6 to 8 week wait to get the 555 injector of Dan as it's a special order from NISMO. Not sure if there could be anything else that's causing the test to fail now... It's compression is 168, swapped coil packs etc. all OK so it has to be the injector. If that doesn't work though I'll have to pull the engine... Anyone else got any Ideas? Paul

No Worries.... :duffer:

not started car in two months
Don't leave it running at idle to warm up drive it straight away and keep below 2.5K-3K revs until you're happy that the oil is warmed and the pressure is good and all is running as it should; I'd give it an oil change aswell. Brakes may need to bed back in so take it carefully. Paul

anyone able to look at some pipes for me? beer money involved :)
Can the car move... you sould try Mr. F (I know I've said it before but hey thought I'd mention it again)

why has my dipstick popped out?
It could be PVC valves or something more sinister. Basically there's been an increase in crank case pressure and it's escaped by popping the dipstick. Not 100% sure but this could be pcv valves or possibly hg or as shrek has said worn piston rings meaning exhaust Gasses are what's causing the pressure. What state is the oil that's in it in? Do a search on here as I'm sure this problem has been posted before...

Anyone running 2 x fuel pumps?
Yep, I'm going for an FPR initially and hoping that will help the issue. I was going to go for one anyhow. I'm doing this before the injector as this will work out a little cheaper (maybe) and hopefully this will cure the problem. Unfortunately I don't have the space to do it myself so it's going to Mike at MJP to be done... I've got just about everything crossed at the moment that this works! Thanks Paul

Balance test results
Has been done mate... that cylinder is fine, reults are between 168 and 175. Thanks Paul

Anyone running 2 x fuel pumps?
Hmmmm... Problem is that his car is now my car and although the test past initially it is now failing again... we suspect a dodgy injector but Fuel pressure could also play a part... grrrr. it's really frustrating!!!!! Paul

Balance test results
Nope... I've got his car and It's still the same... I just tacked to the end of your dual fuel pump thread aswell... I have a thread in Help and advice re. this aswell but no replies as yet mate! Paul
