  1. Sounds good mate... Never done one of these... it'll be nice to see what the cars up to. could you make it after the 24th July though? cars back from Ztech then  :D ;) Seriously though.. Up for this.. it'll be good to meet some of you guys aswell! Paul :duffer:
  2. Sounds like the seals but I'm not an expert... when the turbos spin up they seal temporarily I believe due to the forces involved but then when you come off boost and slow/stop the seals will leak again..... :headvswal. Mines decatted but I haven't had smoke...... Yet.
  3. Sorry to hear that mate... if it's the PCV valves they're easy enough to clean/replace apparently however if it's the Turbo Seals then they were probably on there way out and the Decat reduced the back pressure enough to let them leak a little. If you put the cats back in it may increase the Back pressure enough to stop them leaking but at the end of the day you will need the Turbos replacing (think that's right but I reckon that one of the Gurus will explain better than me)... Sorry mate.
  4. Cheers mate... thought that might be the case!
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-91-92-93-94-95-96-NISSAN-300ZX-TURBO-KOYO-RADIATOR_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33602QQitemZ8070596973QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD2V
  6. Hi guys and gals, Need to upgrade my RAD for the summer months  . Is this the correct Koyo radiator for a TT or am I better getting it from a trader on here? Thanks for you help in advance! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-91-92-93-94-95-96-NISSAN-300ZX-TURBO-KOYO-RADIATOR_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33602QQitemZ8070596973QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD2V
  7. MJP in the traders section mat... :D
  8. also translation in FAQ electrics area... Gotta love this Forum :D ! :nana2: :hyper:
  9. Check fuse box in driver footwell by accellarator... you may have blown the fuse.. it's the top row 10A 3rd from the bulkhead. Theres a translation for the jap description in the Help and advise area. do search. loads of people have had this problem. ;) next thing is to work out why the fuse has blown :D
  10. They had my car two weeks coz it went in without an appointment which meant they had to honor everyone elses job before getting round to mine ;) . The conversion its self probably took a couple of days at a guess so there we are. Not the easiest of jobs at a guess :nono: but worth the money! :D
  11. They had it for a couple of weeks... but only coz I broke down near em. I think the job took about a week all in all. I know what you mean about the car, I love mine but every time something goes wrong with it the missus has a go at me for spending money on an old car when I could buy something newer (not as much fun though)... and better the devil you know I reckon... I know Ztech are pretty well booked up at the mo but get in quick and hopfully you'll be back cruisin before summers gone. If you haven't done it already while it's there get a Rad upgrade, Koyo, better than making the 2 trips that I have to now... Just so you know when I got it done it cost me £1500 +VAT but prices may have changed so don't take that as gospel
  12. Hi mate, Got mine done at Ztech and am very happy with it. Reccomend you avoid stock Clutch though, Ztech do an RPS uprated version as standard. The Turbos on the autos are smaller so therefore spool up quicker making the drive quite frisky lets say. :D only Advice i'd have is get it done by someone who knows the cars otherwise you'll be forever taking it back and forth and make sure that who ever does it Tightens the Starter motor up nice and tight ;) Finish in the cockpit is good ad looks just like manual N/A I had so no worries there... all in all I reckon its the best upgrade so far! (not that I had a choice as my autobox went bang 2 weeks after buying the car  ) Hope this helps :D
  13. Orpington... Fair nough! I think you need Juction 28 of the M25, a place call Kelvedon Hatch. If you fancy a spin at any point let me know Ps. Subscribe to this Forum Mate.. It'll be the best £20 you spend on the car. These guys know their stuff!
  14. Hey mate where abouts in Bromley are you? I live in Bromley North. I took my TT to Mike at MJP for servicing... He has a couple of zed friendly mechanics. He gave a very good service. It's about an hour from Bromley. Let me know if your interested.
  15. Hey mate, Mike @ MJP has a mechanic that knows Zeds near him (did 60000 mile service on mine and gearbox Oil change), Maybe a little furthur than you want to travel though, he's juction 28 I think off M25. Give him a call if interested. Hope this helps
  16. Hi all, I'm fairly new to the Forum so hi! Thought this might interest you all! I warn you though it take a bit of time to load!
  17. Hi all fairly new to this...subscribed about a week ago so hi... Bought TT auto and gearbox blew about 2weeks after I bought it.. doh! anyhow just got a Ztech manual conversion done (includes RPS sports clutch) and it's the dogs danglies! I'd recommend these guys to anyone with a Zed. Sure they wouldn't mind you calling if you want some advice... anyhow Big thanks to ZTECH!

  19. Hi, Just joined so first Hello. I had something that sounds similar on my NA and it turned out to be Tie rod bushes. They aren't too expensive/difficult to replace.
