  1. that should read at MJP.... doh
  2. Hi mate, Call Mike feeney in and MJP, he's in the traders section, web addy: http://www.mjpauto.com, he's got a great mechanic that he uses, Carl iirc did all the work on my car before I had to sell it, really want another!!! He can supply the parts aswell. He's based at kelvedon hatch in at junction 8 of the M25 I think... Any how good luck with it!
  3. Sorry meant to say Nice car!!! Miss mine loadss; wish I'd kept it... :-(
  4. Thought it maybe... anyhow it won't cause you an issue as the HICAS is disabled when the light comes on (I think)... I think you can get an 'enabled' boss from either Mike @ MJP, smithy on Danny @ DTA. They can be a right pain to line up... if you know someone with Conzult that will make it easier although given the power you're running I guess you'll go for a disabling kit? Mike is in Essex and has Conzult etc. so probably not to bad for you to get to if you're going to keep the HICAS... Anyhow rambling now.. hope you sort it anyhow... Cheers
  5. Do you per chance have an after market steering wheel? if so it'll probably be the boss that it's mounted on... it should be HICAS 'enabled'. Just guessing you may have an aftermarket steering wheel given the spec in your rides section... Nice car by the way!
  6. sorry for the bad english but you get the drift!
  7. Hi, Well I can't comment on the car you're looking at but if you're in for a very fast cruiser or even and something just take for spin these cars are the best... I started with an NA and then move to a TT auto; the difference was quite marked imo...anyhow I digress... The TT was the best car I have ever owned, I only got rid of as the missus said it was a money pit and so I got a Subaru... Biggest mistake I have ever made... get a good ZX and you will 'probably' never look back!!!!! Anyhow hope this helps you make up your mind.... good luck!
  8. Hi, had this problem on my Z... ended up getting a Hicas 'enabled' boss from Mike Feeney @ MJP. If you have an enabled boss then it'll need aligning.. again Mike can probably point you in the right direction... Boss was about £55 + fitting... hth
  9. I think I may have a set of bushes, brand new oem versions. Never used them. They're yours for the cost of postage if I can find them as I no longer have a 300. Let me know.
  10. try http://www.gaugeplace.com they have some and the guy who runs it is a top bloke
  11. Cool... Thanks bud, thats answered that one!!!!
  12. I have a question re. MOTs... If you put your car in for an MOT before the previous years is up and the car fails to pass that must mean that the car is not roadworthy (I believe the MOT is only guarantees the car is roadworthy for the first 24hrs anyhow) and therefore illegal to drive on the road? If this is the case with the new computerised MOT system the authorities will know that it has a fail against it... Whats are your thoughts on this guys and gals?
  13. I used to shoot from a very young age and thats all kinds of weapons from air pistols to .22 single shot firearms and the odd semi pistol (I was in cadets) I also used to go shootin Pheasents but then it was on my grandads small holding in Devon under the supervision of my father and grandfather. I would say that if you're shooting clays at a young age then thats fine as it's supervised and fairly safe and easily the best way to teach a youngster the dangers and safety aspect of shooting. Chances are if you have an interest then sooner or later your son is going to want to have a go and I say better now when you have a modicam of control rather than when he might get over excited. There's no problem here as long as everyone plays by the rules. After saying all that I gave both of my shotguns to the Police when I moved to Bromley from Devon. There was no point in me having them here and the thought of someone breaking into the house and getting to them, even though they were in a gun safe, terrified me. Anyhow good luck with it!
  14. you're only about 30 mins away from Mike at MJP... Give hime a call and see if he can help you out. His contact details are in the Traders section on here or http://www.mjpauto.co.uk. hth
  15. I thought that as well but Mike at MJP corrected me. Drivers side and passenger side are different apparently. Something to do with mounting at a guess. Drop Mike a line he'll let you know if they're correct and event seel them to you if you need to source them!

  18. I still love the ZED but an RX7 is really tempting. Especially the Dragon sports fast road/track car that for sale on in thier section Mazdarotary.com. It's alot of car for £8000. Still the zed is doing me proud at the moment! http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=315419&mode=linear#post315419
  19. Well my clutch doesn't push back at me but you're right on the breaking and de-clutching.. it does get heavier. I don't mind this though... so I'll be leaving it as is! Thanks for the advice all!!!! and sorry for the slight thread hijacking!
  20. It seems fine to me... though I have to admit I'm not the best driver etc. in the world. So this is a valid mod then? What I'm getting at is, am I putting to much load on the break servo? I'm not right foot breaking so I assume it will be ok?
  21. now... when I had my manual conversion done by a garage known to this forum they left out the vacuum tanks and plumbed it all into the brake servo/system I have been told, and this is apparently a valid mod? If it's not someone please tell me and if it's not I'll be needing the tanks etc. from someone aswell!!!!!!
  22. Ah ha so it's not just me then and of course does he bother the missus..... oh no! Glad yours is on the mend though Glad you've got your cat back Boldy it must have been heart breaking when it dissappeared?
  23. just got a cat from cats protection league... He's got no tail as he was in an RTA but he's great except for waking me up at 07:00 every morning (including weekends) for hi breakfast... wouldn't swap him though
  24. I've got red recaro recliners :hurl: (in it when I got it) I want to do the rest of the interior in Black Alcantara instead of the original tweed  think it might look a little better?
