True and thanks for the advice... I've spent too much already on this car what with Manual Conversions and dodgy gearboxes and stuff. Also service, discs & pads the lists endless so the last thing I want is for the Tubs to go. I think I might just save for a full rebuild then (not Stock) but that'll take time!

now they look good! Only reason I ask is I'm thinking about fitting a boost controller to up the bosst to 1bar which I understand is all the stock setup will handle. However on a 16 year old engine I figure it could do with all the help it can get! Thanks

I'm not a heating engineer/plumber but... Both sides should be open to allow hot water to be pumped round the system I believe. At least thats how mine works. Do you have a sealed system? it does sound like you have an air lock and if you have a big house the system maybe split (upstairs and down stairs). If you have a sealed system you need to let more water into the system while you bleed the radiator. If you have a header tank you might also want to check the ball cock in it to make sure it's operational. Or I could be talking rubbish. Any how hope you get it sorted bud HTH Paul

yep... Handbrake light doubles as breakfluid level warning... I know cause I had a leaky master cylinder. If the levels low check that it's not leaking.... HTH

I'm with Lifesure (http://www.lifesure.co.uk) I'm 30, 5 years no claims, Mods declared include induction, manual conversion, coilovers, seats, steering wheel, exhaust & chip (think thats it) and I pay £730 a year fully comp on a Jap TT. I had an N/A when I was 25 with no no claims and ended up paying the same for that with no mods and only tpft, that was with admiral. I know there are a couple of guys who are about your age and are paying less than I am on JAP TT's but can't remember who they are right now. Also look at Uk models they're cheaper to insure then Imports and there are a couple of very, very nice examples for sale on here and at a good price aswell! HTH Paul

Ok Guys and Gals need your help, I had my car up at at MJP for a G'box swap (Thanks Maxsunny btw G'box in perfect order!) anyhow while it was there asked him to look at a strange smoking problem that I have (not tubbies) and he reckons it's overfueling as theres loads of black soot in the downpipes etc. Anyhow did a full Conzult and this showed a dodgy 02 sensor on the left we then looked at the fuel map and he said it looked very strange he called it Plateaued, as if it was a get you running map and no tweaking had been done to get it right. Anyhow obviously I want to get this sorted... I have a few mods HKS induction, high flow cats (on car when I got it) and Superdragger exhaust apart from that it's standard. There is another option and that is that the relay has been removed. It should be in the engine bay fuse and relay box... on the right hand wing as you look at the car. I had to do this to my old NA when the electro-mechanical (I think) Clutch packed up. Probably isn't that but just in case.... HTH

don't know about the company but they look like Apexi ones... I have a set of originals but yet to fit.... doesn't mention a brand though.... best to check as a duff BOV could screw your Turbos I'm told. Also theres a proper fitting kit for the 300.. I'm sure someone was selling a kit on here recently... The originals retail for around £300 so I'd say beware
