  1. What difference does that make? When Paul at swz stopped trading i took over 3 jobs.two engine builds and a manual conversion in various states from partially stripped to totally in pieces. Some had been sat for months and one job had been apart for years,They never left after with a full "oh well see how you go" warranty.Very rare by the time i see a car its running, usually its engines blown, has major running issues or doesnt go at all and 90% + arrive on a tow truck so that last statement is rather lame.
  2. Im sorry bud but you should have gone to Car mad for that, thats why the forum traders are here.known and trusted and more importantly available should a problem arise,i know they are not endorsed by the site but a Traders status would soon be withdrawn if they are not worthy.Buys cheap ya pays twice.
  3. Thats shocking, the cas position is awful, probaly 30 degrees btdc, car must have detted to hell like that.

But you do test them for uneven application dont you.And a tapley wont prove this.LSD,s as long as your careful its fine.Trust me.

R u serious !! A rolling road is Fine for lsd,s if used correctly.I never had any trouble when i was testing.Tapleys are shit full stop.As they dont give any individual wheel performance, you could clamp a rear brake pipe off and still pass a tapley test.In a 280hp car id like to know each wheels caliper is doing its bit.Because zeds dont suffer from caliper problems do they.
  8. LIFE AS YOU KNOW IT :hang: PMSL
  9. Brace yerself chaps, youve been warned, remember those days where you just disappeared and did yer own thing, messin with cars, hangin out at a mates house for hours, they will be fond memories once babies here and yer missus gets it into her head your escaping, your mobile will be bombarded with" where are yous and when you coming homes".Not wanting to put a damper on things of course :crying:

  16. Yes mate, they used to be different part numbers due to wire lengths but are now sold as the same item.Same for tt and na iirc.
  17. Just chisel it from the side several times mate and it will start to shift trust me.Done these several times this way and never failed.I do have a bearing puller if youd rather user it.can post it down if you like mate with that shipment of liquid gold you wanted
  18. Out of curiousity, why did you seem weld the arches on bud?
  19. Quinton and hazel, that world leader in quality aftermarket car parts Lol.I used to use Borg and Beck clutches years ago until Q & H took them over, wouldnt fit one of those to drive it to the scrappy :scared:
  20. The oil should already be coated around everything anyway from when you last drove it.Your engine is designed to be driven straight away, its not a formula 1 engine which is nigh on seized then heated to free up.Driving a car is the quickest way to warm the engine, load on the engine increases friction which produces heat.A static engine has very little load and will never warm up to the running temp of a driven one. This will not damage your engine FACT.
  21. No more than 0.3 amps is about right iirc.
  22. Start the car, give it a second and pull away, its simple as that.If your using a quality oil it wont be a problem.Cold start is done by the car injecting excess fuel to richen the mixture for the initial start, after this air and fuel are added at increased levels to keep the car running at a higher rpm to increase heat throughout the engine.if your cars stood still it will never use the increased amounts of fuel which then runs down the bores, strips oil off causing wear to the rings.A 300zx which uses the boost solenoids still will NOT allow full boost till the ecu sees the correct running temp. But regardless of that every car makers handbook ive read says the same, start and drive away,do not allow to idle :nono:
  23. Remote start is no good for the car, great for 17 year olds in Saxos at Mcdonalds to impress a 15yr old bird. Its not good for any car to be left idling on cold start,ALL car makers ive come across advise to start the car and drive off straight away to reduce engine damage caused by bore washing.
