model question
The battery and brake boosters have changed sides. And the wiring loom is slightly different.

What rear bumper is this?
I dont really, but if I was going to have a body-kitted zed I probably would. I have to say I agree with most of your tastes, but that bumper is hideous!!! Each to their own though, thats why we have such a great range of zeds on this site, and not 100 clones.

Wheel Studs
If I were you i'd get a garage to do it then. No offence meant at all, its just if it goes wrong it could be dangerous, this is the wheels after all. A garage sould be able to do it in 15-20 mins, so wont be expensive.

Wheel Studs
yes. you can drift them out, and align the new one in on the splines. Pack it with some washers and do a wheel nut on it to pull it through to to the requred torque.

Do I need a new clutch/flywheel?
http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=54596&highlight=pulling+noise http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=70689&highlight=pulling+noise Anyone find out in the end from either of these?

Do I need a new clutch/flywheel?
No grabbing, but can feel it faintly through the pedal. Reckon it might even be a bearing, output or release. With the aid of an assistant, the noise is coming from the front half of the car. So not the prop or diff. There is a slight whine that goes when you push the pedal, but only a really quiet one, so the release bearing cant be bad, thats probably just normal gearbox noise..

Do I need a new clutch/flywheel?
I used to have a bad vibration/rattle at low revs when pulling away. And also a bit of vibration at higher speeds. I have personally fitted: - 4 new wheels, all balanced, - Nismo gearbox mount - new Centre Bearing. (The prop was replaced exactly as found.) The top end vibration has gone, but the 'pulling away' noisy bloody rattle remains. It cant be the prop as i'm vibration free all the way up the speed range, just this massive rattle on low revs torque. (i.e. you are moving at speeds where you really should be in 1st but stay in 2nd). Another thing that leads me to the flywheel being warped is that even after a new (well 2nd hand good one, I dont think Legrath would sell me a bad one!) starter motor I still have grinding trouble starting when cold (the motor doesnt fully engage the ring-gear). The ring-gear teeth are showing signs of wear from this but not enough to stop the motor engaging, yet. I have had f*cked clutch suggested, and a good search on here has thrown up mention of warped flywheel. If anyone would be kind enough you can have a test drive at Silverstone and see what you think?

Decatting
no problems yet. :) and dont remove the o2 sensors! :slap: easiest to change them is: 1) when your g-box is off or 2) when you fit your new divorced downpipes and decats. But 2) is much easier with 1)!

How many Zeds off road?
Overnight parts arrived from USA just now, so this evening its having some suspension work, then tomorrow it will pass its MOT retest so it can get taxed. Then Silverstone! It was due to have a massive suspension rebuild between Japfest and Silverstone, but now that will be happening after Silverstone.

Series 2 Climate Control Module Unit Help
I'm not sure I'd want to lose my 'high' and 'low' settings for a still-mostly-ecu-controlled direction setting... Now the manual pod... now you're talking! (I know its impossible)

Jaypsc ......rip
 What a complete shock this is. My deepest condolances to all his family and friends. I cant imagine what you are going through. I have texts and pms barely a few days old, and i've talked to him regularly recently on the phone. I was even due to go and see him in the next few days to get some car bits. Such a great guy, a very very sad loss. Rest In Peace.
