The rebuild has finally started today and so far in a few hours I've managed to completely strip the interior.

 

 

 

Next job on my list is to get both the bumpers, tailgate and bonnet off.

 

After that i'll work on the body panels and stripping down the engine.

I’ve had the same issue mate, had to back fill the lines from the oil cooler and remote oil filter housing

Make sure you prime it without the spark plugs in, much less strain on the starter motor and effectively no load on the bearings as it’s not building any compression

Finally got them to tell me that parts on on back order and no longer available so after a small refund the rest was dispatched via UPS last week.

1 Week on and UPS demanded the import fees upfront which i paid only to discover that Z1 never completed the Export license information to UPS.

Now my new turbos have been returned to Z1 which i have tracking for and Z1 are ignoring all communications with me and i'm down the import fee too

as if its shipped out again guarantee it will be a new tracking number and they will demand a new payment.

I'm really at my tether with this zed and nearly had enough, everything i do to get it on the road goes wrong.

And today i have received my full refund from UPS for the original import Fees that never actually left the USA.

UPS is a shambles of a company, taken 3 months to chase and make my refund.

But i never gave up and kept hassling them to refund it.
