In the Zed community where let's face it news travels very fast especially bad news, I have been sitting on this info/pics for about 3 weeks now and I get no pleasure from it but only to inform you all.

I was shown these pics and more of this car and it dawned on me that I had seen the car before, not having to look far I found it and it belong to a very high profile active member on here..........Paul C had owned this UK Zed 11 years, sold it earlier this very summer and within weeks.....well see below for yourself - now a Cat B, apparently 'the rear kicked out on a dual carriageway and the driver lost control'.

Sorry Paul if you didn't know bud, I guess the following pics will break your heart .

Wasn't this only sold quite recently...?? :( I'm sure it was for sale when I was looking to buy... sadly, it was out of my price range.

Lovely looking car and a very sad end! :(

Real shame that, vultures will likely circle very quickly, I wouldn't be surprised if the usual suspects buy it up for tuppence claiming they want to repair it and conveniently declare it beyond repair and break another car.

That is a shame, it had race logic tc on it too so driver must have done soething stupid. Do you know where it's being broken as I need a replacement rear light ;)

Sad to see. Was a lovely Z and had been owned by Paul in the club for a long time.

agreed mate horrible to see what was a lovely zed cherished by paul for such a long time in this state makes me sad ;(

i was thinking that myself, first dibs on sale haha, no seriously that is a shame a stunning zed ruined and by the looks of it any one in the car will have being lucky to walk away as that section of sassy is rock solid and it would take one hell of a bang to be put it in that condition. but on a brighter note if the owner was to get it back from the insurers i'm sure he would get alot of his cash back on the car looking at the quality of parts onit.

Such a shame, especially since it was such a nice one and there aren't too many of those left anymore.

What a shame to see such a stunning example of a car mullered like that especially after it had been treated and maintained so well by the previous owner.

I'm a little concerned about how it happened, to be honest. I'm new to driving a twin-turbo'd RWD sports car but even I've learned (very quickly) how they should and shouldn't be driven!

If the tail started wagging on a dual carriageway, I'd say it was either wet or greasy or it was a high-powered gear drop...

Whatever the circumstances, still a desperate shame to see such a nice example of a dying breed end up in such a state. :(

I wanted it Danny but couldn't because it needs to go to end of life registered breakers but I'm not sure if it's being crushed or not as it's not on the auction salvage site anymore as it was briefly.

How was the driver is he ok?

The policyholder was fine and got paid out.

The thing with these car is there relatively cheap high powered rwd cars, people get out of a 1.0 corsa or something similar and don't change there driving style, they just get in and think they can drive it like a fwd car and the end result being something similar to the pics

This is why I've learned quickly that if I drive my Zed like a ****, it'll make me look like one!

Glad to hear the driver escaped safely :)

anyone with any sense would'nt crush that, i'm sure the car will pop up again. which site was it on

Oh no - that is very sad to see indeed. Paul really cared for that ZX and spent a lot of time and money having it resprayed etc....

.....So much so, that it was a fine example of a late model UK spec manual; the likes of which are few and far between. RIP 300zx; I am truly sorry to see that:sad:

Richard:nono:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
