  4. Spun the wheels by hand on Sunday, cant reproduce the noise. getting no movement from the prop, obviously this doesnt completely rule this out but its less likely in my eyes due to lack of movement by hand. (wobbling) have checked over the suspension parts the prop and steering rack. nothing jumps out at me, and haven't spotted anything that looks like it could be the cause.
  5. Any one? Cant drive her till i know what the prob is and get it sorted and its my daily driver. luckily the weathers been ok so i can get the bike out, but its chucking it down today and dont fancy anther wet ride :( Neil

  9. Good evening.. Well Mrs took the zed out this evening and broke it lol... Now there is a clunking noise that is def a rotational one. It's not there when engine is running and stationary. But does increase with speed and gets louder. I've got a video but tap talk wont let me up loaded it. Going to get under in tomorrow but wanted to know if any body had any ideas as to what it might be. ?? Thanks in advance Neil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. the paint on the car is about 20 years old, so is a good base. its hard and wont move at all. So your theory there is sound. I wouldnt bother priming it if youve got no filler work done, scotch the whole car and your good to go. id prob give the bumpers 2 coats, then put them back on the car and spray it all in one go. as its a pearl, like my one it all need to be together to get the finish, or the pearl will sit differently if the panels are sprayed separate from the the car. 6 liters should be enough, with some spare. The BMW wasnt thinned when we got it, and was mixed 1:1 but the paint just wasnt covering very well at all. We got it from our normal supplier and have never had an issue with quality before. but we had to get more and that was the same.
  13. Also with that being RFU does it state at what ratio it was thinned out? Most base coats we use at work are either 1/1 or 2/1 the exception is the direct gloss stuff which is 4/1 with activator and the between 10 and 20% thinners Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. All depends on how it covers. The black I just used on my respray of the current Zed, took 2.5 liters cos it covered really well. I sprayed a BMW recently it hellrot red (a BMW colour) and the coverage was piss poss so it took 5 liters. What colour are you spraying over? Or has the whole car been primed? Is it a standard car? Or are there aftermarket items on it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I can do 2 tone for you... Would have to ship them to me though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks for that Jeff... Thats this weeks little job Neil
  17. Hi all.... Right, after i washed the car at the weekend i noticed that there was a bit of water on both seats. I wasnt overly worried as i hadnt resealed T top rubbers, I saw a thread that Jeff put up putting in some silicon sealant. Did that, but have noticed that at the back of the windows. towards the top there is a gap between the window and the body of the car Now before i start taking off the door cards to have a look, is there a way to adjust the windows so they close tight against the body? Neil
  18. We have an Sri 1.9 diesel same year... No probs to report and had it about 3 years. Nice to drive actually v responsive and good mpg (65 on a run) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Depends what you really want buddy. My first big bike was a 55 plate zx6r - 636. And had no issues or scary moments. The cbr 600's are forgiving bikes and this a good choice as a first sports bike. If you want a sports tourer then the kawasaki er6 either naked or faired are another good choice, then you have the triumph models. Daytona 600. This is my current toy a 63 plate ZX6R 636.. Basically just replaced the 55 plate with a brand new one :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
