Going to start this thread for members to post up what they did each day to there zed. I will start with getting my MOT this morning. So what did you do today on your 300?:cool3:

This is probably a club record? I’m fairly sure no other club member has owned the same car for that long.

I'll explain

Same reg number A 2X OK on my zed(s) for 26 years,

But my Zed ownership is a bit like triggers broom.  "I've had it maintained for 26 years  . . . 5 engines 3 bodys  . . . .Best car i've ever had!"

But still never sold one, and not been without one since 97.

There will be a write up eventually "its been emotional"

And yes, 26 years ago people were still asking what oil should I use?

Had mine coming up to 22 years…I was actually a young man when I bought it and I still feel as excited to drive it today as I did back then…although now I just feel like she want to kill me when I drive her like she’s fed up with me 😂

Went yesterday to "brûleurs de gommes" ("tyre burners" or something, cba to googletrad), a BIG tuning/racing event at Spa-Francorchamps. Was too late to do a session, sadly. And from there we went me and my, well, wife now (yes, we finally got married after 30 years of relationship) to an underground "hardacid" party situated in a bunker from 1883, destroyed by the germans in '14. With Woody McBride (DJ from Minnesota we like) as main guest. Not a dent to my baby on the parking, even "night people" were respectful and a lots of thumbs up. Ever wondered what a Z32 looks like in a marriage? 🙂

Today, we took the Zed for a little drive across The Chilterns in the sunshine.....

....Stopped off at Stowe Gardens and recreated a classic photo - not just of the one I did about 5 years ago - but one from a certain book many of us have... 😉

 

Washed and waxed yesterday......

......After another trip to Bath last weekend, I continued to use my Zed all week - so it got a little dirty after the rubbish weather. Nice and shiny now though 😄

 

This morning, I have been out in the garage, treating my Zed's leather seats with Gliptone Liquid Leather Conditioner....

.....The whole garage now smells leathery LOL!!!

Today I looked at mine in the garage while getting the kids scooters out before going to the park!

I am definitely taking it out next week!

I took mine out for the Sainsburys run yesterday - and drove the scenic route home in the spring sunshine.....

Last couple of weekends when I've had chance I've been upgrading injectors to 555s from the stock series 1 370s, now fitted and in place with the adapter kit and soldered the new plugs on looks so much neater now , next job is to do a neat job of tucking the wires and covering them and then plenum can go back on! Can't wait to have her running again really missing driving her especially now summer is upon us! 

Also got my hands on a lovely kakimoto exhaust system which needed some cleaning up! But boy that autosol is awesome! Doesn't look brand new but a dahm site cleaner! Can't wait to hear that in full chat! 

Also cleaned up the fuel rail as that looked a bit worse for wear.

Assuming you are still using the 90 to '94 engine harness, this may be of interest to you when using early style (pintle) injectors:

Today I got the car all put back together , now waiting on the socketed ecu to arrive then fit the chip and then it will be the moment of truth lol!

Whose chip (MAP) are you using?

Got myself some nice new trim parts from Luke aka zed centre….probably never get round to fitting them but at least I made the final effort of purchasing them 😂

Expensive items but they make all the difference to the detail finish of the car. Not sure about the knife though!

Probably the easiest mod I'll ever do 🤣 seen this pop up on fb and I couldn't say no, might sound stupid but feels so much nicer! 

It was that time of year again on Thursday.

Happy to say that 4261 miles driven and a nice green pass!

I also managed to sneak a look underneath and there was nothing to worry about. All underseal still perfect, not a hint of rust anywhere.

All good for another year 😁
