  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

  • These parts turned up from Specialty-Z today. Last significant items for the "bolt on" build. I'll post some more pictures of all the stuff I have collected over the years (literally!) in the "Project

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

What are you testing Joel?

I’ve always wanted to try them on to see if they fit but the motivation came from a vibration under braking from high speed issue. I wanted to eliminate the unlikely cause of the front wheels. My rears have had new tyres within the last couple of hundred miles so I thought I’d slap them on to see if the symptoms change or stop.

I would like to find a pair of the “face 2” wheels for the front but the front end didn’t feel very nice with 9.5” compared to the 8.5” so I’ll likely just stick with what I have. That and the fact I can’t find any! They do look good though [emoji41]

What size are the rears? There looks quite a bit of sidewall for an 18, a good thing in my opinion.

I would say the headlight glass.

When the glass 'pane' is viewed from an edge you can clearly see the difference in their reflective properties, one headlight in this case it seems is the float bronze tint and the other is exhibiting more of a colour by transmission, ie in this case a very shiny red colour and can be seen externally in conjunction with the reflected colours producing complicated colour appearances, therefore one glass's appearance is down to a more of a cobalt oxide introduction causing a thickness rolled composition .

It's odd, once you see the effect it stays with you - rather like one of those optical illusions that you have to stare at for a time before

finally seeing it (which some never do).

JayJay that looks awesome. Great choice of wheels I really like it.

The wedge you've achieved with the chin splitter and the spoiler makes that LWB look amazing.

Collected the Zed this morning from Powerzed and Oh My God what a job Jim has done! Not only has he replaced both turbos, but he has cleaned all of the injectors connectors and changed the TPS. The car not only sounds amazing but god does it go! Two years without boost.

The drive home was glorious, even if it did scare me a few times when I forgot I had boost now. Many thanks Jim

Had a good day borowed an impact gun got my flywheel of, so then the engine is now on my stand, and with a bit of effort both turbo's are now finaly of but then found the egr pipe to the passenger side is cracked all the way through so tommorow will be spent trying to get it of. 20180505_173327.jpg

I'm running 225/40/18 on the front and 245/40/18 rear. They fit very well

Thanks mate! I'm chuffed to bits with it!! And best part the bronze colour hides brake dust :D

IV been thinking of changing that spoiler for a replica 99 speck from z center. Still not sure yet though.

If you can't get the thing to unscrew then I have a spare manifold with the fitting removed.
