  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Mines going to a hiding spot for a little while, it's good because I've got to drive it there but it's bad because I won't be able to go look at it. Won't be long till it comes home to the new house though and it's new resting place till spring.

Nice one Gary - I must try a set of those myself......

I have done nothing on my ZX today - but yesterday I took it for a spin to the rural quarters of deepest Essex!! We visited Audley End House in Saffron Walden..... I'll pop some pics up shortly:biggrin:

Richard:)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Opened the bonnet, got angry with it and closed it again lol.

I have a fuel leak from the small pipe going down and I can't be motivated to strip the plenium down to sort it at this time of year. Also needs new PCV hoses and loom as both of them stew on their last legs.

And you didn't pop in for a cuppa why? I needed a hand earlier too :(

Discovered a boost leak under the plenum somewhere....plenum pull and full delete next on the list so i might aswell put the car on stands now till spring and do about 20 other jobs and mods over the next few months:cool3:

Next time matey - where are you based Joel.....?

Richard:cool:

Famous words!

Well treated the old girl today, full Valet in side and out plus leather care, sorry there's no scenic views but it is Ellesmere Port...lol.

Ready for the drive down to silverline early Saturday morning to try to sort this poor running I've had now for three years:-((, if this fails I swear I will shred this f.....ing car:-))).

You need to mach the waves on carbon wrap :)

I must have a leaking inlet pully jinx...My Manual zed has a hub leak from the rear of the pully. So full stripdown was in order including wings taken off to paint.

bumper taken off to change and fit my new side mounts

upper and lower plenum taken off

contaminated timing belt off

starting a full EGR/PCV/ delete and water pipe bypass too.

I like it on the front roof panel - and of course the rear one before the tailgate.... But I'm not keen on it being applied to the A-pillars and targa panels - sorry mate!

droped the osr susension to get to all the diffacult brake pipes that plum in up there.so now after jeff at zedworld doing the rear ones up under the rear diif in july and now nearly fininshed replacing all the cooper brake pipes all over the car.so atleast i know now when i spin up the road the cars going to stop.pics laters. oh and some new rear pads to.

I actually removed some lights today....................................................................................................................................................yes you read that right :turned: removed the swage line ones from the rear where15 smd's lit up underneath the red marker, see the pic below just no need for them I've got more than enough, I was never really in love with them - looks much tidier now with just the black swage 8mm tape.

I also took out the 3rd brake light flasher that just flashed when braking, I bought another module today and this one fully adjusts the time it flashes and then goes solid, so I'll post up a vid later this week of it in action .

I replaced the relay under the OSF wing for the headlamp wash system...... I have had it sitting in my garage for months since buying it from Slick Pete (cheers mate) ages ago!!

The good news is, the relay swap was needed (there is now life when pressing the headlamp wash button with the headlights on)..... The bad news is, the headlamp washer motor is probably knackered; as there is still no squirtage!!!

You have just answerd what i wanted to know all week Richard after taking my wings off...what that relay was for.:winkiss:

Swore lots as I managed to blow 2 fuses by being an idiot and rushing a job as it was getting dark. Also bust my hazard switch doing same job.

Ended up 2 steps back from where I started. Car is sat in garage with half the dash out.
