Tried to fix an intermittent speedo....and made it worse.

Refitted parts of the dash with anti-rattle tape though and everything feels really sold. Still need to do the speedo! I've just driven down to Glastonbury and back in it to see my parents and had a great drive. Noticed the lack of performance in this heat. Well, just a slight reduction. Z1 SMICs are to be ordered at some point!

reset my tps as it got knocked and car was running lean.

got it back to .46v on conzult.

finished tidying up all the new wiring looms me and my dad made for all the extras that has been fitted.

Polished my Z up today for the first time since I got it, there's a local show tomorrow and although I'm not a massive fan of this Z's looks I though I'd tart her up a bit. Vinyl'd the roof bars and also fitted my black bonnet. Even lifted it at the back to piss the purists off

Driven 80 miles in the sun never missed a beat.

That looks lovely Tom, great work :)

Having the best post det leave ever.

Oil change with filter and used some liquid gasket to stop the weep from the sandwich plate. Did some rather A level prone position soldering which got the oil temp gauge working again where the spade connector was crap.

Fuel filter change and only lost about a spoonful of fuel into the towel :ninja:

I also serviced the sensible car, oil and filter, plugs, magnecor leads, K&N panel filter.

And while I was in there I had a good look at what could be causing my braking judder, it's nothing suspension related it must be crap Ebay discs and me not bedding them in properly :headvswal

And I stuck the A pillar trim up properly, that's been falling on my head for a year now!
