Something has just caught my eye how much are my Gartmaeir alloys worth or what is a good price for them second hand? they are 18in staggered so i would say 8in on front and 9in on rear. Marty

The reversing switch on my Manual TT is failing more than it works, my mechanic did order a new one and tried in vein to get behind the gearbox and get it off, but couldn't. He is a good mechanic but doesn't know the 300 that well, so, do I need to take the gearbox off? Remove the cowling over the transmission tunnel? Help please? lol:oops:

So here's my dilemma, I have 2 1999, Version S 300ZX's. To look at they are pretty much identical, same color, the red front seats, both auto, but one is Twin Turbo the other Non Turbo. Non turbo has genuine 18,000miles, TT has genuine 37,000 miles and obviously both cars are in stunning condition. The Twin Turbo has the factory fitted xenons too which are beautiful and both have the factory fitted white dials, although I noticed the TT has the boost gauge again! I thought they were done away with from 95 on, but obviously must have came back for the last year TT's. Anyway I cant keep both and simply have no room, so which would you keep? The very low mileage car an…

Well after having the car for 6-7 weeks I've finally started work, doesn't help the new place doesn't have a garage! Managed to fit in some part collections with work meetings :thumbup1: so picked up a front bumper from Oxford, rear bumper from Leicester, next week side skirts from Preston and seats from Windsor! Also have spacers and longer wheel studs for rear wheels and 25mm drop lowering springs ready. But the boring stuff first, the turbo water feed at the back of the engine is leaking so started taking the plenum off to get at it. Two hours later and it's still on  forgot how much of a pain in the arse it was, still a bypass and egr delete while it…

Hi all, new to the forum, I've done a search relating to my question but cannot seem to find the answer! I'm researching the Z32 and thinking of purchasing one some time over the spring, my question is in regards to the roof of the cars? Looking through auto-trader, they all seem to have a removable roof? T-Bar I believe it's called, is this a standard, are are there models out there with a proper hard top? Thanks for any help in advance. Wayne

Just watched this on youtube, i quite liked it! Some very nice zeds (including a lovely red 'vert), and a fair bit of driving, plus i even liked the music (which is trance - you have been warned) if you're having doubts about a zed not being for you, this'll change your mind! I'm pretty sure im going to drive my zed every day when its lighter for longer and a touch warmer - ive already started taking the long way round just for the hell of it :D

I think I know the answer to this one, but thought it best to check, when changing the propshaft does the gearbox let any fluid out, will it need topping up afterwards? I'm thinking it won't, am I right? Cheers....

If you are luckily enough to have electric passenger seat, but have a fault with the switch, trying to find a replacement is getting harder and harder. There is a solution, get hold of a working drivers switch, and it can be modified. You will need to remove the seat, and disconnect wiring underneath, remove the switch with a screwdriver (2 screws on outer casing, and 2 holding the metal plate inside the casing) You do not need to start messing about with the switch and controls, as opening it up, will release all the small ball bearings, which will no doubt run for cover under the carpet. You will see there are numbers of wires, each going to either the heaters,…

Guy's :hang: Before I take the plunge and sell my Z what do you think it is worth? Genuine UK 60k miles auto red 1 previous owner totally original, Full Service History every year by nissan Timing belts done when they should be. Looks almost as good as it was when it left the showroom. Taxed & Tested. My only comment would be that it could do with 2 new rear exhausts.

Rear crank oil seal The genuine only parts debate is one that we see proven daily as correct, not least with gaskets and seals. One area we deal with often is rear crank seal, as the gearbox requires removal for this it is often outside many owners abilities by virtue of lack of facilities etc. Lately we have seen a trend with new or nearly new seals leaking and in almost all cases these are non genuine parts. Not often we have time to photo this particular issue but an opportunity came up today and you can see in the pictures below the different shape and size between non and genuine crank seals. What you cannot see is the feel of the materials used …
